There's an interesting conversation happening on a story called "Fire in Highlands of Scotland ." When it was first uploaded, it scored high ratings, but pretty soon after the iReport.com community used the comments area to call attention to the fact that it may not be what it's described to be.
It's a good example of how the comments can work on a story to add additional info, ask more questions and help get to the bottom of what really happened. Hats off to the folks who spotted it and told the rest of us.

I feel the need to express concerns about Hilary Clintons sincerity. The NOVA area has been overwhelmed with what to do about the growing latino community. Several weeks ago Hilary was in manassas and supported the community there on their resolutions to basically controll the latino community population and agreed to whatever remedies were thought of and suggested they be raised to a federal level. Now this week in manassas random searches have begun, basic racial profiling but legally. Now I see her in Texas trying to woo the latino community which poses a question. Does the community there know her stance in manassas?
I would like for CNN to show her in manassas, show manassas today as people are being racially profiled and then show her amongst the latinos in Texas.
Campbell Brown, when you interviewed Jim Downey from Saturday Night Live and he admitted that he prefers H. Clinton to the other candidates, for whatever his reasons, do you think the media is being manipulated by the Clintons? Since H. Clinton accused the press of letting Obama get away with a free ride, the press appears to be scared to say anything in Obama's favor.
Anderson Cooper, I think it was, stated that there was a story on Michelle Obama that would be aired yesterday. He stated that showing the piece wasn't showing favoritism toward Obama. However, it was not aired that I have been able to tell. I have looked constantly. I also looked on the web and I haven't seen it. Is Cnn scared of what the Clinton's will say if they show it? I hope that I am wrong. I have been waiting to see the piece.
I suppose that America has forgotten that former President Jimmy Carter attended a church that did not admit Black people. Jimmy Carter has and continues to be a fair and honest person and I never held his racist church against him. I think we need to give Obama's minister a rest.
Have anyone notice lately, thatObama is still a plagiarizer and to use his rival's husband's President Clinton's farewell speech is just disgusting. I don't know why the press haven't call him down on that one.
