THIS is OUR day........i give my love, my hope and my friendship to you. This is the one day i take and thing of the friends i lost in the Army.....but whatever service you serve in or have served in....you and I know, things happen that no one but a fellow soldier will understand, some bonds remain strong, sometimes stronger than family.....Milan ( r.i.p) and the guys that died in germany, i drink to you. cise, joe, sgt. hawkins and the rest of my brothers in arms, i give my thanks for all you are and were in the army. to those that have trouble dealing with things no one, even family, would understand, i offer my ear. to those that never made it home, i offer the blessings of kharma to your families. this year as we honor ourselves and our brothers and sisters, i promise a poem some may understand, some may not, it is unwritten, but will describe the love......and loss i feel each and every time i think of you. my love, friendship and respect to you. to those in the middle east........have faith, for if we hold true to the promise we made to no government or family member , but to each other.....you will come home, be it dead or alive.........you will be missed, mourned and remembered. i raise a toast to you. my brothers and sisters in arms.
