The latest and greatest on CNN iReport, brought to you by Team iReport.
iReporters are feeling spacey lately with all the news of the Phoenix lander touching down on Mars. After JenniferS got the chance to go on a NASA field mission in California's Mojave Desert, she was compelled to follow up by visiting NASA's Ames Research Center in Mountain View. There, she watched as the Phoenix lander touched Martian soil .
The iReports she captured along the way show both the technological and human sides of space exploration: the long hours of research and training logged along the way, and the tense minutes leading up to do-or-die success. She adds to a long list of iReporters who've given us a look at everything from eclipses and to shuttle launches .
User tnhiker wowed us with his shots of Saturn, Jupiter, the sun and more . Another iReporter, astro , has photographed the International Space Station , a solar eclipse and the Hale-Bopp comet . We also got an iReport about the Mars landing from inside the virtual world of Second Life, courtesy of SL iReporter iRocket . And who could forget BDrenning 's footage taken of lights that flashed over Phoenix, Arizona?
Maybe you're a space-loving photographer, too. If so, send us your photos and video and share your tricks for getting that great shot against all interplanetary odds.
Don't forget the latest book coming out on Burt Rutan's pioneering invention -- "SpaceShipOne: An Illustrated History" by Dan Linehan. Dr. Brian Hart, astrophysicist, is leading a book tour on humankind's first commercial spaceship in Southern California this June. BTW, Hart, 28, is definitely a Young Person Who Rocks!

We think Scott McClellan was a democrat plant
observing the dirty way the democrats play. They make up their own rules as they go along. ExampleON A MORE IMPORTANT SUBJECT: Dismissing Florida and Michigan Votes, ANY Votes, affects ME and ALL United States Citizens. I am a Republican and would not vote for a liberal Democrat this year. But ANY Vote not counted is a crime against us all. You think the Democrats are going to win? Then Florida and Michigan Votes must ALL count, or we are all going down. My husband said "why do you care?" BECAUSE this manipulation affects the outcome of the 2008 Election. For years we all know that democrat dead people voted in Chicago and some twice. We all know how manipulative the democrats' rule system is. None of us have ever heard of a Causus System before this year, and None of us knew that a COMMITTEE COULD DECIDE WHEN A STATE VOTED TOO SOON IN A PRIMARY THEIR VOTES WOULD NOT COUNT. THIS IS A CRIME, WORTH A LAWSUIT. It's like the dems badmouthing the US. They are badmouthing ME, it's slander, some of the comments the dems make. I've been ready to sue on the ground that some of these left wing liberal democrats have slandered ME, I am the government. And I don't think any of our young people realize it, yes even if Clinton or Obama wins. Then we ARE the government. And our voting rules should not be rigged by either the DEM or Republican "COMMITTEE." The dirty way the Democrats play is illustrated in the way they talk about the war. It is reminiscent of "Tokyo Rose" during World War II. Way to go Democrats! Bring us down. I was taught that the United States would never fall unless we destroyed ourselves from within. Well, you just keep on trying to destroy any patriotism our young people ever thought about having. I am a teacher. We still pray and pledge allegiance every morning in our high school. And afterwards we CHEER!! because we BELIEVE THAT EVERY VOTE COUNTS so that WE THE PEOPLE represent the Government no matter if it is Clinton, Carter, Bush I, II, Johnson, Kennedy, Eisenhower or Washington himself.
