Way back when iReport.com was just someone's quite-possibly-crazy idea and the team that eventually developed the site was only getting started, one of the things we knew for sure we wanted to do was put iReports on a map. iReports come from just about everywhere, and we have a hunch that seeing them all on a map will help us learn something about how local stories and global ones connect to one another, and where and how that happens. So! Today we're really excited to launch the first version of our iReport map , a mashup of iReport data and Google Maps. For now, you can use the map to see iReports from across the world and on all kinds of topics plotted together according to their location. You can also see where iReport contributors are based by clicking on the iReporters tab. And get ready for big and small enhancements in the next few weeks. HOW CAN JOHN McClain THINK HE IS A MAN FOR THE PEOPLE WHEN HE DUMPED HIS WIFE AND CHILDREN FOR A RICH WOMAN? HOW CAN HE TELL ME ANYTHING ABOUT FIXING AMERICA! ONE THING FOR SURE BARACK ABAMA IS A FAITHFUL SPOUSE AND A TRUE AMERICAN. WHILE JOHN McClain HAD A SPOUSE WHO STAYED WITH HIM WHILE HE WAS A POW IN VIET-NAM AS SOON AS GOT BACK HE DUMPED HER. HOW LONG WILL HE BE FAITHFFUL TO AMERIICA JUST LIKE HIS BUDY THAT’S IN THE WHITE HOUSE KNOW? HIS WIFE WAS IN A BAD ACCIDENT AND WAS SICK BUT DID THAT MATTER TO JOHN? NO AND NO WILL BE WHAT WE WILL GET WHEN IT COMES TO FIXING AMERICA.
Looking at your map, I found it rather depressing .All the "i" signs coming from the USA !!! Is this your preference or what? There is a rest of the world outside your borders..Hallo???
Funny, McCain has (TRIED BUT HE'S NOT WINNING THAT ARGUMENT) to beat up on Obama for lack of experience, his pick of Palin is hypocritical! She mAY be a good person, but Biden has more experience and I would want him to be VP over her anyday.

Bailout will not repay taxpayers !
The bailout will not repay taxpayers! Nonperforming assets are defaulted loans on which the borrowers are in default for at least 90 days. Why will defaulted borrowers suddenly start paying their loans when the Treasury buys them from Wall Street and banks? Treasury will have to foreclose homes, repo cars and boats and send credit card accounts to collections to recover just a fraction of the book value of the nonperforming loans. Holding defaulted loans long term will not make them perform. The bailout is a huge loss to tax payers!
