HOW CAN JOHN McClain THINK HE IS A MAN FOR THE PEOPLE WHEN HE DUMPED HIS WIFE AND CHILDREN FOR A RICH WOMAN? HOW CAN HE TELL ME ANYTHING ABOUT FIXING AMERICA! ONE THING FOR SURE BARACK ABAMA IS A FAITHFUL SPOUSE AND A TRUE AMERICAN. WHILE JOHN McClain HAD A SPOUSE WHO STAYED WITH HIM WHILE HE WAS A POW IN VIET-NAM, AS SOON AS HE GOT BACK HE DUMPED HER. HOW LONG WILL HE BE FAITHFFUL TO AMERIICA JUST LIKE HIS BUDY THAT’S IN THE WHITE HOUSE KNOW? HIS WIFE WAS IN A BAD ACCIDENT AND WAS SICK BUT DID THAT MATTER TO JOHN? NO, AND NO WILL BE WHAT WE WILL GET WHEN IT COMES TO FIXING AMERICA.
I wonder how many people remember Joe Biden QUESTIONING ANITA HILL... His Nasty and Antagonistic Attitude WAS A DISGRACE towards her as a WOMAN, AND A BLACK WOMAN, WHEN SHE TESTIFIED AGAINST CLARENCE THOMAS, at his supreme court hearing. I also know you will NEVER read THIS on the air or publish this because you think that Obama is a "miracle man". I DO NOT! He is bright and a great orator, BUT he has a lot to learn....and at the country's expense! HIS running mate choice could NEVER be mine! I AM A WOMAN AND HE CASTRATED ANITA HILL! Another time, another year, and cartainly a different V.P. running mate, maybe!
I wonder who is planning obama's course.18 million votes recived by hillary clinton will make a diffirence in the outcome of this election.can joe biden carry those voters.NO.so from the begenning somebody was making sure hillary wasn't going to get any where.i remember John King saying all through the primary that neither canadate could win the nomination until the convention.but low and behold, out goes FLORIDA again, and Michigan.it is bad when our canadates are cheated by the republicans.but it is a disgrace when it is done by our own party.and i don't know if i want to continue to be a part of this party anymore.obama says he wants change, well we might just get it.going from george bush to john McCain.but that really isn't change is it.but obama just delivered the election to McCain.waite and see.
Obama's quailifications for president are no more than my qualifications to fly a 747 airplane. This country really needs to look closely in to Obama's closet and examine all of the skeleton's. Mr. Biden should have consider the consequences that are going to come from accepting the VP job. Why in the world would you want to work for a guy who no expierence in running a city, state, or even a company? he has no leadership. I wouldn't follow Obama anywhere. I don't think that this country is ready for a black president, let alone, a in-expierenced one at that. Obama needs to go back to the senate and actually do something beside vote Present. Get some expierence and prove yourself Obama like everyone else has and maybe this country might be ready for you!
this comment is to drasmith. I believe that you really need to do some homework on Mr. McCain. It wrong for you to judge McCain on his marriage to his first wife. If you would have watched the Saddleback forum, you would have heard McCain state that his greatest moral failure was the ending of his first marriage. People make mistakes. You don't know what caused all of this, nor do I. This country is in need of change, I believe that McCain will do that and not just talk about it like Obama. McCain has over 20+ years in the senate, what does Obama have? Less than 4 years, what has he done beside vote present. He talks a good game. My suggestion to you is watch the saddleback forum and then decide. McCain did not stutter during any of the questions and did not give any grey answers. Obama on the other hand, tapped danced around the questions. What has Obama really done, beside write a book about himself?
I am extremely upset due to Obama's choice. Granted it is his choice as our party's choice but does he really think it was a smart idea to just show hes using Clinton as a figurehead? Clinton got as many if not more (my memory is iffy on the numbers) votes during the primary season. Shes a fundraising powerhouse, she has massive support, yet she was not choosen to play a major role whatsoever except tell all her loyal supporters to go vote for Obama 08. Well as I see it, what do we really need Obama for now? Troop withdrawl is already in the process without him. That was his huge bid "Troops out in my first term" and the whole plan could be finalized before he gets in office. I think now would be a great time for McCain to release a front yard sign reading "Clinton supporter voting McCain 08".
Both parties are acting as two small children, throwing sand at each other to try to show superiority. Am so tired of this back and forth mud slinging and it's still August. How did we get to this point when Obama showed some hope of a different pathway?
We seriously need third party representation, intellectual and committed to representing the disenfranchised and cynical, lost believers of the current two-party system. They suck and I want neither Democratic or Republican candidate to be my voice to the world....
I just don't understand the all the child like behavior from the Clinton Supporters. I have always been an Obama Supporter and if he had loss I would have been upset, by I would not have voted for McCain. This is crazy. Obama won more electoral votes than Clinton and that is the only standard that matters. The two had very similiar platforms which are distinct from McCain's. So, if you Supported Clinton and cannot support Obama, don't call yourself a Democrat. For if you were you would accept the democratically elected candidate.
This is the problem with America, I'm glad you point it out as a flaw Brainstorm10. You can't call yourself a Democrat if you vote for another party. Party loyalty is history. You should back people who follow your strongest feelings NOT the person who is the head of a party. Obama hasn't addressed any issue I deem important to MYSELF and I feel hes dancing around a camp fire instead of sitting down to talk. Did you watch that Religious Forum? "uhh, uhh, uhh, uhh" does this ring any bells?
I was for Clinton due to her history of getting things done. Regardless whos elected the Economy will have to rebound, thats just a fact. Both sides can do the same results, they refuse to believe that of eachother.
Since when should a party conform to the exact beliefs of that one party, this is why the political system fails. You should look at the country as a whole and support the strongest back issues, right? This is what you said with Obama winning the votes, why shouldn't it be the same with the issues. 30% of the nation hates Democrats, 30% of the nation hates Republicans. 40% of the nation calls 60% of the nation childish, this is one time the minority should win.
It was OK its all hyped up..I feel Hes good but what will he do..What is considered 95 percent of the working people?? people who make under 30,000 a year?? what does it mean
in reference to tax cuts sry
Does that mean people who are middle class, working only making say $30,oo a yearand struggling will get hit with taxes??
I mean he sounds great but say a year from now when all this is over, the people who only make 42,ooo yearly are hit with higher taxes. Is this true can we believe mccain??Obama didn't make it clear...THIS IS NOT RIGHT MY FAMILY SUCCEDED FROM POVERTY AND THEN OUR MONEY WILL BE TAKEN FOR GOD KNOWS WHO OR WHAT. ISN'T THAT KIND OF BEING A HYPOCRIT AS HE TALKS ABOUT MIDDLECLASS WORKING FAMILIES AND THEM BEING CHEATED?? HAHA WHAT IS IT CONSIDERED TO BE RICH, OR MIDDLECLASS,..IN THE STATE I LIVE IN IT CERTAINTLY ISN'T MAKING 42,000 A YEAR. SOMEONE TELL ME SOMETHING ABOUT THIS SO I KNOW MORE BEFORE I DON'T VOTE FOR HIM FOR SUCH REASONS
YES HE SINGS GOOD BUT THIS ISN'T AMERICAN IDOL
FAVORING OBAMA BUT NOT BUYING IT STILL AND DON'T LIKE MCCAIN
WHAT HE SAIDANYBODY COULD SAY.. I WANT MORE IN DEPTH AS WHEN AL GORE SPEAKS. SOMEONE WHO SHOWS YOU THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT NOT JUST THE BASICS WITH TAILS TO THEM. I LIKE HIM BUT I DON'T.HAPPY FOR AFRICAN AMERICANS I THINK THIS IS GOOD BUT THIS IS NOT THE ISSUE HERE
WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT JOE BIDEN IS MORE ABLE TO RUN THIS COUNTRY PROBABLY THEN BARACK. THATS PROBABLY WHY HE CHOSE HIM.
WITH THE COMMENTS ABOUT DEMOCRATS,,WELL FOR MYSELFI DONT CALL MYSELF ANYTHING I HAPPENED TO LIKE CLINTON AND TO ME IF I DON'T LIKE OBAMA I WON'T VOTE FOR HIM. I ALSO FEEL THAT THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY CAN GO EXTREME AND I AM CAREFUL OF GOING ALONG WITH THAT TRENDY VOTE. DON'T FORGET THE INDEPENDANTS.. BRAINSTORM DONT THINK SO MUCH
watch what happens when mccain takes stage and metions about his war experiences and recieving awards at the whitehouse and about being a celebrity like obama performing in a football stadium..watch voters change of mind
Are the reasons that John McCain picked Sarah Palin from Alaska as his running mate - especially the reason, to please women voters - more important than what she will bring to the ticket? Let us debate her experience, what she has done for the people of Alaska, her ideals and beliefs, etc. We all know Hillary and what she could have done for our country, but that ship has sailed. Let us deal with the here and now.
I have a question about the film festival audio clips... are they available in anything other than AIFF files?
I agree with you carolanne.good post
I have a comment about the cnn situation room news. They are highly partial to the Democrats and are allow people to bad mouth the Republicans. They should call the situation room the liberal news media room. They must be voting for the Democrats for they only speak highly of the them while speaking down on the Republicans. The thought of loosing the abortion rights seems to be the main issue of the democrats for it is. They should be thinking how they will be confessing this murdering of innocent babies to God one day. There is still hope for those who agree that abortion is right by believing in the gospel of Jesus Christ to be forgiven of all sin and the sin of abortion. There is hope today. Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world suffered and died on a cross for my sin and the sins of the whole world. He arose from the grave an ascending to heaven as the glorified risen savior having all authority over heaven and earth. Anyone who confesses they are a sinner without hope of going to heaven and believe that Jesus died on the cross so that they can be forgiven of their sins and receive eternal life in heaven. as well as a new start in life now. This is true and millions upon millions have already believed and became Christians and will be in Heaven for all eternity. Today is the day of salvation, now is the acceptable time. Life is lived one day at a time and no one accept God knows when a persons life will end on this earth.
In my opinion, I don't believe anyone is qualified to be the President of the United States. People vote for all types of reasons: true to their party's candidate, service, backgroud or race or gender. Personally I don't care about your story, I don't care about your experience, I care about this nation and it's people. Why are we, as a nation, trying to bring order to a foreign country but we can't rebuild a U.S. city New Orleans. True be told it's hit or miss for voting for the president. No one knows the future outcome of the person elected. So, no one knows who will be the best choice for president, you can only hope and pray for the best. With Obama I feel like the American people finally has a voice and he is willing to compromise for the good of the American people if neccesary. With McCain I feel he going to do what he wants to do and it's doesn't matter what the American people have to said. John McCain has what we call in the U.S. Army a 'dog and pony show', it looks good but it's BS. McCain wanted Leiberman as a running mate but the republicans would have protest and pulled funding. So, I feel as if, he is playing this game 'anything you can do I can do better' with his choice running mate. McCain has to put on this show in order to please the republicans. I believe it's going to backfire bigtime and that's not the type of maverick I'm willing to vote on to bring change to a nation that hurting, crying and hanging on by a red tape. The reason we study history so we don't make the same mistakes, why give this party another four years when they have let down the American poeple so many times. Taxes will be increased regardless of who is in office and one has to be naive to think otherwise. I think both tickets are good; however, i'm not impressed with the republican party. They've let the nation down too many times. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me, fool me a third time NOT going to happen!

Reggae Icon Cocoa Tea Releases Follow Up To International Hit, “Barack Obama”, Launches Exclusive New Website For Digital Downloads
(Chicago, IL) – Zojak World Wide is pleased to announce that just a few months after recording the international hit, “Barack Obama”, Jamaican roots reggae star Cocoa Tea is in the spotlight again with his follow up single, “Yes We Can”. “Barak Obama”, which has been circulating for months on the radio, among reggae fans young and old as well as casual music fans around the globe, is praised for its participatory message and catchy melody. “Yes We Can” is Cocoa Tea’s brand new, non-partisan follow up calling for unity between people of all political affiliations, races and classes. In cooperation with Zojak Worldwide, the leader in digital distribution, Cocoa Tea is making both tracks available for sale exclusively via the new website, www.cocoateabarackobama.com.
“Yes We Can” is Cocoa Tea’s response to “Barak Obama”. A rootsy, non-partisan appeal for all classes, colors, races and creeds to come together, “Yes We Can” is a roadmap for people to unite across party lines, racial divide and international boundaries, despite personal differences.
Cocoa Tea sings, “Yes we can/Don’t let them tell us that we can’t… Democrats and Republicans, let me hear you say yes we can, yes we can…”
Cocoa Tea says “Barack Obama” and “Yes We Can” are significant in part because they reflect a remarkable mix of popular culture and international citizenship. When asked why anyone should be interested in what a Jamaican reggae artist has to say about American or international politics, Cocoa Tea answers,
“Because of the message. It says things about decisions being made in Washington, DC which affect people of the whole world. We know the USA is the greatest superpower so somewhere along the line we know what happens in Washington, DC will affect the world.”
"This is not about class nor color, race nor creed," Cocoa Tea sings on “Barak Obama”. "Make no mistake it's about the changes all the people them need."
The song “Barack Obama” has struck a chord around the world and created a new generation of Cocoa Tea admirers while television appearances on CNN and FOX News as well as interviews with the BBC, the New York Times and New York Post have cemented Cocoa Tea’s place in international popular culture. “I been to Europe, Caribbean and America,” says Cocoa Tea. “The response has been the same - overwhelming. People who don’t like Barack Obama the candidate like the tune. Is a tune people love. I was surprised because in Europe people responded like it was a European tune.”
Both “Yes We Can” and “Barak Obama” will be featured on the upcoming Cocoa Tea album release from Zojak World Wide, scheduled for release on November 4, 2008, the same day as the US presidential election.
