The latest and greatest on CNN iReport, brought to you by Team iReport.
We rolled out an update to iReport.com this week that stops the comments field from accepting embedded images, video and sound files. We did it because we'd heard a lot of complaints from the community that sound and pictures in the comments field were interfering with the main iReport content. You'll notice we also added a brief message about the change right above the comments field: "The comments field accepts only text comments, no embedded media files."
Questions? Concerns? Fire away in the comments, just don't include any embedded files. :)
Let me ask you something. I'm considered middle class maybe even poverty by some standards. I don't claim to be a genius when it comes to economics, but I think it is common sense that under Hussein Obama's tax plan we will quickly experience a depression. If you tax business making more than 250K they will take those business's elsewhere and will be forced to raise prices to cover cost ect.. the list goes on. This really is a no brainer. You democrats only care about your pocket book, but you are so ignorant and short sighted you don't even see the consequences of electing someone like Obama. Electing Obama would be committing suicide for America.
Why would we elect someone who has so many question marks about his religion, background and just who he is and what he stands for? At least with McCain you know who he is and what he stands for. When in the history of America have we ever had to question whether he was a Muslim, terrorist ect... the list goes on. Sorry, but if I have to raise those types of questions about a candidate I'm going to have to say NO thank you. This is not racist by any means. If Colin Powell was running for president he would have my vote. But, I shouldn't be comparing a true African American to a true Arab American. Just check the facts if you’re confused about that last part.
I was curious since Hussein Obama would be considered the first African American elected president at 6.25% African American; does that make me a Mexican American at 12.5%? Does that mean that I get to check the box Mexican American for job apps or credit apps? Does this mean that I will get special aid or even grants for being part of a minority? I'm sick of the media calling him African American. The man is and would be if elected, the first Arab-American president. How does this sound, “And we welcome to the stage our 44th President of the United States of America, Barak Hussein Obama," sorry it just doesn't sit right with me. According to Muslim law or Koran whatever they call it, if a Muslim converts to Christianity he is to be put to death. So, if Hussein Obama was Muslim and converted to Christianity and he really is a practicing Christian then how come the leader of Hamas and the leader of Iran support Obama and have openly said they hope he gets elected. Why are Muslims supporting Obama by the thousands??? Doesn't it all seem a bit weird?
I am a Christian and I support Israel. I am an American and a Veteran. I am a Woman and a Mother. I am Black and a Business Owner.
I do not support the right to shed innocent blood nor the redefining of the marriage union.
I do not support Robin Hood. I take personal responsibility for my failures and do not expect the rich to pay for them.
I am a McCain-Palin supporter, but, I am a Christian first.

I keep watching Headline news and CNN? I am amazed at how obvious it is that both channels are so bias Democrats! I am a disabled women who has been thrown into a system of the government,Disability, THAT Does NOT work for those of us who really are disabled! I worry about Obama being president not be cause he is black, but his back ground and history is disturbing? I can go on line and research instead taking what I hear for granted on TV.If I can find some of these disturbing FACTS about Obama, then why cant CNN and all the other News channels research and report the truth?
Also, since when, did the president eleection become a Popularity contest? I will vote for the man or women who I think is best for the job! Also if I based this opinion strictly on the media, AMERICA will be in series trouble! I wish people would stop and turn off their TV's and really think about what is best for America? The curption in the Government has got to be stoped! I want some one who I can trust and not a SMOOTH talker like Obama! we are in trouble America!
I have been watching both candidates possibly more than any other election in my life time. I was a republican until I started to see through the mess that we are currently in. I have never been so ashamed in my life of anything. I even stayed on the fence for awhile thinking that republicans couldn't have screwed up our Nation so badly but the hard cold, in your face fact remains, that they did and some democrats followed.. now we all suffer.
As a result allow me to share my insight. War has no color or shame. Death has no color or shame. Suffering has no color or shame. Financial loss has no color or sham. Poverty has no color or shame and if we choose to see color in front of intelligence and logic, we should be ashamed and we deserve what ever will happen to us as a result.
Our country is no longer the leader as we use to be so many years ago. Our government has borrowed and borrowed to the point that in reality we are in debt to other countries. When you are in debt to someone you don't own until that debt is paid off.
Not to be crass but, our government has pimped us out and in essence we are all slaves and seemingly have no choice. But America, we DO have a choice and we must choose a leader that will gain the respect back that our nation once had when dealing with tax payers and other countries. We need to choose a leader that when in the most difficult situation, will not loose their cool but stay calm, focused and clear.
Now, I know that we think about experience as being a good indicator for making a decision but allow me to give you food for thought. A parent that for the most part teaches their children right from wrong sometimes also learns from that child. Keeping in mind that child has not been on this earth long enough to be put into a category of having experience but yet, can still teach some valuable lessons. So what does that tell you? It tells me that even though a person your looking at and listening to may not have the experience or tone that you think they should have does not mean that they can't lead you into a better direction nor teach you a better way.
We are ALL responsible for putting our Nation back into a good light. It is TIME for ALL of us to put our differences and our likes and dislikes for one race, color or creed aside and look at the RAW issues facing our Nation. Just think if everyone were blind and deaf but could still feel the affects of our Nations problems financially when our children and family members need and can't afford goods and services and physically for loved ones lost in a war that didn't have to be. How would you vote in November? If undecided, sometimes we have to choose the lesser of two evils so to speak.
Our Nation is being destroyed by Greed and Corruption and we have been lullabied to sleep for so many years only to wake up to a mess that we had nothing directly to do with, only to be left to deal with the suffering and disgrace that has been brought down upon us while the people partly responsible, still enjoy lavish lifestyles while a good part of our nation is trying to put food on the table, keep a home, provide the essential needs to our children and make it day by day.
Remember, for two terms we were promised things like this would not happen and not only DID they happen but got worse when the greed and corruption no longer had a blanket to hide under. How many times are we going to fall asleep believing in something or someone that can't deliver only to cause our misfortune, not theirs? How many times are we going to fall for promises made during elections to get votes? If we look back it was never stated CLEARLY how that promise was going to be carried out realistically.
Washington and Wall Street relies on our ignorance so that greed and corruption can continue. It is time to take a stand and show them in November that we are no longer ignorant to what is really going on and we will not stand for it anymore. We have that power and we must use it.
The Road to Enlightenment is Traveled by Many but Accomplished by Few. Lets see things for what they really are and not what we would like them to be.
Hello CNN
I hope I am being heard,,"read" as I think I speak on behalf of quite a few CNN viewers.
CNN has prided itself to being unbiased ( unlike FOX where the news is one sided and therefore lop sided) Recently few of us have noticed that Mr. Lou Dobbs' shows have been extremely pro republican and he claims to be a Independent??. I can personally send him a dictionary or he can go online and see what that word means. We make it a point to watch CNN to get the unbiased view and we have to listen to this bigot. Please advice him accordingly or pull his show as it is not in keeping with the CNN philosphy. He can always join FOX and continue his caustic comments on Obama and the democratic party but NOT on CNN sir.
Thanks for listening we hope to see an improvement in his attitude. Right now it stinks like the LOU!!
I would like to invite you to a new forum called http://www.viewmyviews.com
Thank you

What a day! I was not born an African-American, so I am sure there is a pride and fulfillment in which I cannot completely share... but I WAS born an American, so I can and do have a special pride and fulfillment myself. I am over 60 years old and I am not sure if I have ever felt more pride to be an American as I do today. We have grown up a bit, Americia. If we can do this, what more can we do?
