This will bring out a big change not only to history of human rights in U.S but also to Worldwide democracy.  For long, Korea and U.S have maintained secure relationship and we, Koreans, received many helps from U.S including this financial crisis instance. Hence, Korea once again congratulate Barack Obama's winning of the presidency from the bottom of our heart and through this moment, we wish to settle each other's inner conflict and pave a way to more solid relationship.

I am not old enough to vote, being only fourteen; however I bought shirts and pins. This means so much to me. On the night of the election my grandmother said that she never dreamed of seeing this. Personally, I never dreamed of seeing this either. I hoped and prayed for equal treatment. I hoped and prayed that God would hear our prayers and give us a change. I hoped and prayed that people would unite as one people, not different cultures. Nevertheless, I could not really see it. I could not envision a black man, black woman, and black girls walk out on the stage, with the titles President, First Lady, and children of the president. I could not imagine there being two beautiful black girls on that stage that would look like me and my sister. A First Lady that had the skin tone of my mother was a dream, and mostly a President that looked like my dad. I had a dream, a prayer, and a wish, but I never thought it would come true.

Thank you America, whether you're black, white, Asian, Latino, Native American, or anything else that I missed, thank you for voting and helping. Next election I will be old enough to vote and I'll be proud.

I would love to see all the other states do the same.  Ohio is the first state to have a bill passed to put emergency contact with our drivers license so if there is ever an accident law enforcement will no who to notify more quickly.  Please it is so very important for all moms and dads and others.  Wish it had already been in place when my son had his accident.
