The latest and greatest on CNN iReport, brought to you by Team iReport.
Speaking of traveling iReporters, nealmoore has been iReporting for several months from Taipei, Taiwan, most recently on the trial of the former Taiwanese president. For the past couple of weeks, however, he’s done a little traveling and decided to take iReport with him. He first stopped by Port Alberni, British Columbia, to see how the economy was affecting this small town. Speaking to everyone from business owners to the mayor, nealmoore really got an idea of what makes the residents of this “mill town” remain positive, despite declining fortunes. He was particularly struck by one homeless man greeting another with the words “keep surviving.” He made a quick stop (and iReport) in San Francisco, California, and then spent a week in New Orleans, Louisiana. With Mardi Gras just around the corner, he asked residents, retail workers and restaurant staff to share their thoughts on the upcoming festivities and whether or not they would be affected by the recession. Are you planning a trip soon? Take iReport with you and ask local citizens you come across for their economic survival stories.
I think that the whole concept of this particular article and ireport is a great idea. Virtually everything that we see and hear in today's world is from the media. This intake of facts is a one way road that does not give the reciever a chance to respond to any of the information that is given to us. Through applications such as the one I am currently writing in, we can give some of the power back to the people. Without a chance to respond either by reporting or commenting, we greatly limit our experience. This can be a dangerous thing if we do not let our voices be heard. So keep up the good work and get your ideas out there!
Congress needs to stop bickering about the stimulus bill and realize that not every problem can be solved at one time. One thing that could help on a state-by-state basis is to deport ALL illegal aliens currently in our prisons back to their home countries, and cancel all medical care to ALL prisoners. California is about ready to release tons of their prisoners out into the general populus as a piece-meal solution to their tanking economy. Politicians and other prison officials are whining about the fact that their inmates aren't receiving adequate "HUMAN RIGHTS", vis a vis medical care. WHAT?? I haven't had medical care for 15 years, and can't work because I'm so sick!! But, not sick enough to receive assistance. How do illegal aliens and other PRISONER's command medical care and free housing before I do, or every other law-abiding US citizen in this country!!!
And doing this, save billions of dollars in the process.

My prayers goes all the family in this crash. My question is; why are we still depending these black boxes to get Voice & data information when we are capable to capture these data in real time, just it's done with space shuttle. There is a system capable in doing just that, informing the crew of all details in regards to the operation the aircraft ie; ice on the wings, weather conditions etc. I have tried for the last 5 years to get anyone to listen to these concept to protect all flight by replacing the present system by giving these data in real time both to ground and cockpit. The time as come to replace thes arcade system with more advance system in regards to flight safety.
