Tyson-we see it is a little slow but so far, like the changes- it is a start and hope more substantila imprevements will follow. I will probably not be avialble for the forum today.
system is very slow at the moment and I cannot access my Inbox or My Stuff..???hope that is temporary..
seems to be working again but very slow...

I've had a lot of problems uploading - either it never gets above 0%, or it uploads but does not appear in "My Stuff"... my one attempt that did "take" has been in "uploading" status for 45 min. Just letting you know.
That is not what the economy wont's to hear after the economy is in bad shape.
They get bonus at AIG when the economy is in bad shape. At other jobs we don't get bonus, raises, we don't get our 5 days no more that's not fare.
Someone needs to tell Ner the forum is tomorrow! And yes, this is really very slow loading, if it loads at all, and I mean just the site. I'm not uploading any reports. Any idea how long it will be back up to regular speed? As any other site I go to is working just fine. Thank you.
OK, I have a crazy question- since gilldreams mentioned she couldn't access her stuff, I checked mine and on a few of my old posts - now there are these "smiley" things, that weren't there before, and I don't have that capability nor desire to put them there on the comments, is this something new?????

I AM SICK,DISGORGE, CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?NOT AIG AGAIN,COME ON, I WANT TO CRY BUT SHAME TO CRY INFRONT OF MY DAUTHTER.
Just a couple things I noticed - 1) when I use Firefox on Vista, my stories don't post, and my comments don't, either. I had to post my story in IE. 2) When viewing long comments, spaces between some words get removed, until you click the "more" button. e.g. a comment will say "Have ANice Day" until you click "more", then it will correctly say "Have A Nice Day." This is both in IE and Firefox, Windows and Linux. 3) I tried to edit a story in Firefox/Vista and the browser crashed. This is repeatable and consistent.
Just helping you guys out - keep up the good work.
tyson- I tried to copy and paste it to show you but it doesn't carry over to here, can you just go look at my last couple of post in my stuff??? They are there, and I have no idea why or how they got there, and they weren't there yesterday, that I know of! Interesting-did you add on any new ways to leave something like that in your new program? It doesn't bother me, it just was weird to see it. Thank you tyson!

Hi Tyson, I am noticing when commenting on posts, it doesn't show up. I can refresh my browser and it will but not all the time. Site very slow as well.
MRWashingto, this has nothing to do with AIG. We are talking about upgrades to the iReport site. Thanks :)
As stated before in the earlier blog.
The update is causing a few problems.
1. Comments are nor showing up or getting double posted.
2. Ratings are not showing up on other users.
3. You can sometimes rate multiple times.
4. Site is lagging big time.
5. When you log in, when you move to another page you get logged out.
iReport you have some big issues to fix. As I travel the site it is making people frustrated, myself included.

tyson- see the smiley thingy on Spontaneous's 1st comment-that is what I am referring to being speckled on my old posts, just can't imagine how they weren't there yesterday and somehow are there now?? Very strange. Spontaneous, are they showing up on your old posts as well?
oops it's her 2nd comment, missed the 1st one. but that is the item I am referring to.
I went to a post, made a comment and rated it. The comment is still there but the rating disappeared after refreshing the screen. I went back an hour later and the rating is still not there.
Came to check things out..

Lette- noticing the same thing.
Plus I don't know what's with the words running together, I'm having to double and triple space, and I'm using firefox right now. I'm going to try switching back to Safari.
Tyson, Lets get some informed americans represented with some ireports!
Need to quit recycling American's "outrage" and work on uncovering and reporting new facts. No doubt economy is in pre-depression state and things aren't good for any of us, but those ignorant enough to propose death threats should really take time to educate themselves! AIG is a big player in the world's economy and has made many mistakes, but the same thing that has lead to their downfall is the root of capitalism as we know it! Simply defined as risk and reward. We can be as angry as we want at CEO getting bonus money and making millions when we are losing our jobs, but HOW ABOUT holding some of these grandstanding politicians accountable?! WHY don't we begin to express our frustrations on the preformance of our elected officials. All of the supposed oversight, all of the laws written that make all of this possible began in the Clinton years and continued through Bush's terms. Big cooperations and bigger banks, easy loans, big risks, and huge tax loopholes are what is to blame- not Capitalism!!
Lets start blaming the laws passed, lets start blaming the system we created and the sectors of government that allowed this to happen on their watch! Congress members can play all the politics they want in front of as many cameras as they can find, but who is going to know about or express "outrage" for the next campain contribution or the next extravagant dinner paid for by any number of well connected lobbyists that THEY happen to accept????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rating system is not working properly! Ratings are dropping off after refreshing!

My "New iReport" emails from reporters I follow do not include the quick link to the new report anymore.
system is not working too well yet- comments are still not being uploaded to posts- words appear normal spaced in comment section and if they do post at all, sometimes they run together....I guess this all takes time. Have to back out of page and go back into post to keep it updated...
AnnNonomus, I don't noticed the smiley's on old post. I do notice when I put them now, they show up and then go away under the comments
after some expected glitches it seems to be up and running better than ever- let's move on to the next round of changed- no stars!!!!
good job, team - we know it is not esy to make changes but it is a great improvement. So when do the stars go away???
hay none of my story's are up loading can you fix it now please my last 3 will not up load and it is starting ti piss me off
NERanger so far nothing good has come of this change. So far only frustration has come about. I personally like the rating system with the stars.
Now that I see people are having problems with Firefox, I will start using EI because Firefox has stalled one of my stories from being uploaded.
