We've gotten multiple complaints from users who were not able to post comments on some iReport stories -- most say the site asks keeps asking them to log in over and over again.
It looks like the problem is happening when people type in emoticons like :) or :(
We wanted to let everyone know that we know about the problem and that our developers are working to fix it as soon as they can.
In the meantime, please don't type emoticons into your comments. We're sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

i'm still not receiving the quick link on emails for new reports from ireporters that I'm following.
Comment without emotions still don't show up at times. Why do we have to refresh the page? One of my post posted but NO ONE can open it. Ratings are not registering.
I have been typing and typing comments and retyping comments and they dont get posted and suddenly the whole lot either appears or not, just replied to a comment ireporter Ryn made on my easter bunnies but the comment did not come up
I would like to click on the story and see the one that is listed in my e-mail- this is not happening. Thanks, Charmaine
to post your comments AFTER you send, REFRESH your page and it should work, this was discussed yesterday at the roundtable and for me it works.
Millis, that still doesn't work all the time.

I am not able to upload any ireports this evening. Yesterday I had the same problem. When I use Internet Explorer, the submit button is greyed out. When I use Mozilla, it crashes. Please help. It's very frustrating. I have tried numerous times with no luck. Thank you.
On some posts, my comments show up immediately! And on some they show up only when I refresh. But then the star rating disappears. It seems to be inconsistent. I figured out the emoticons the hard way. I see the link has been fixed in email alerts. Thanks for that!
I am still finding it difficult to make comments on ireports, I have to type a comment about twice or thrice for the first one to come up.
Why did my Star disappear? I have to refresh a couple of times after entering a comment before it appears.

I am a severely disabled injured worker with a TBI. Since I lost my income we had to refi our dream home our only home. We had excellent credit, but after the fact found we had been pushed into a subprime loan. We lost everything after losing our home. We were able to lease a house and its owner went into foreclosure and we had to find somewhere else to live even though we had a lease which was paid timely. In the development we live there are many homes for sale. I only hear and read about helping people keep their homes. Wouldnt it help the economy and in turn help us if the govt. would help us get a house. Rather than pay a landlord who owns at least 4 homes and rents them. If we could be included in the "help" line we could pay a mortgage payment and would be the ones contributing to the economy by paying property taxes, things for the house support local businesses, but we have been forgotten. Can anyone tell us why this idea wouldnt help out the economy and us. We're not looking for a handout just a hand back up.
Is it just me or is today particularly bad for comments not working?
Today it seems I post, and then have to refresh..When I do 'no' comments are showing..I get all blank under the report.. I have to leave, return and some times that doesn't work either..

Today I tryed to get your attention 23 Mar about how United Airlines rude Staff treatment at Tokyo, Japan of UA 0891 through passengers was handled. This is a story that should be report so the world can see for themselves what a poor run staff United has. The passengers were not helped in anyway and left stranded

It took 20 hours for my son Tlewis3462 to upload an Ireport I did yesterday. I am also haveng the same problem as Celh mentioned, I have to refresh several time to see comments I post.
