The latest and greatest on CNN iReport, brought to you by Team iReport.
We're looking forward to talking to everyone today at our weekly iReport roundtable meeting. Please invite your friends to join in the discussion.
Before we get started, I'd like to let you know about some of the assignments we're working on:
Monday is the 40th anniversary of the first Moon landing and we'd like you to share your memories of the historic event.
We also want to hear what you think about Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor's confirmation hearing.
We're also asking some interesting questions about family, community in connection with CNN's "Black in America 2" special, which airs on July 22nd and 23rd.
There's also a lot of talk about the new "Harry Potter" movie, so tell us what you think about it, if you've already seen it.
You can find all of these topics and a lot more in our Assignment Desk. We update it all the time, so I'd like to encourage everyone to check it regularly to see what we're looking for.
We'll open comments at 2:30 p.m. ET to talk about your questions, comments and concerns.
Hi everyone, I hope you're all having a good week.
Hello fellow iReportarians & Happy Thursday to you!
Hello!
Hello I'm new here and testing the waters. Is anyone there
Hi Everyone!
@scorpi2000 -- Welcome, I'm glad you decided to join us. How did you hear about the meeting?
@davidw...How things been going at the iReport desk lately?
Hi everyone.
Welcome, scorpi
@kyle..is that Las Vegas song still stuck in your head?...lol
heya everyone!
G'day all!
@MelissaF - Life is good.
KyleHd invited me
@ Team....Whoever came up with the assignment on "Don't say that word" I want to thank them, it's really fun!
@davidw...who's been handeling the Weight Loss pieces? I have a private question I would like to ask him or her?
In case you didn't see it, Henry did a really cool story on some Harry Potter fans real "Dumbledore's Army." Check it out http://www.cnn.com/2009/SHOWBIZ/Movies/07/16/potter.activists.irpt/
@MelissaF -- Why don't you shoot me a line and I'll forward it along. I'm not exactly sure who the contact person is right now.
MelissaF: I got 2 woman and 3 men losing weight and eating healthy, so if you ever need advice, let me know ;)
@KyleHD -- Thanks for spreading the word.
@scorpi2000, me too KyleHD told me about the roundtable mtgs almost 2 months ago! Thx Kyle!
Actually, I am visiting my doctor today, but thank you so much anav
Ok so 1 I'm excited to announce I have gathered citizen journalist in the Chicagoland area, primarily from iReport and the Examiner.com and we are having our first offical meetings! 1 is this Saturday in the suburb of Elk Grove and then next Wednesday, July 22 in downtown Chicago in the loop! So I'm excited about that! If you guys are in Chicago, living or just visiting, send me a message and I'll tell you where!
Second in trying to contact a bunch of people I was able to talk to some iReporters who haven't reported in awhile, and tried figuring out why they didn't iReport much anymore. I found 2 general answers. 1. They didn't think what they had to say or report on was news worthy. I tried explaining the assignment desk, and none of them had even heard of it, so maybe making that part of the front page would help. and 2. they just forgot about iReport in general. :( I don't know how anyone could do that! So that's my research from the past week!
Hello.
Where do I start ?
@MelissaF It was out of my head, but now it's back in there! haha
hi guys!
Can iReport.com stand alone or is it a support for other CNN divisions?
@scorpi2000 -- If you've got a question feel free to just ask it, We'll answer as quickly as we can
@KyleHD -- Wait up! Have you been talking to a guy named Mike from Examiner.com? One of my friends from grad school messaged me about something that sounds a lot like your citizen journalist meet-up.
MelissaF: ok cool, but say no to medicated diet pills...
have a good day all
@kyle..lol
@davidw...To get more people to iReport I think that you should shoot out weekly emails to people with the assignment list as reminders and tell them to contribute..this might help with the people that forget iReport in general. On several occassions Henry or some other producer like from HLN will shoot off an email to me making a request and I 99.9% of the time fulfill it for them.
Bye ANAV!
I lost my star , What did I do wrong? Or what didn't I do?
@Salsteels -- Not sure I fully understand the question, but iReport is part of CNN.
@zdan, possibly, I have talked with so many people this past week! It most likely was me!
@anav..been there done that..and definite no no in my book!
@KyleHD - What a small world?! I can't believe it. What's on the agenda for the meet-up? Or is it a secret?
Afternoon all
@scorpi2000 -- The superstars are assigned by a mathematical formula that measures different types of participation on the site. It resets every two weeks or so.
I just looked at your profile and it looks like you haven't posted in a while, so that's why your star went away.
@kyle..wish I was in Chicago with you for this meeting it sounds great!
@everyone I got an email asking me to join this beta testing on dotspots..anyone else get that? It's for citizen journalist to put their 2 cents in to everything on the internet..
@zdan I'm not sure yet! haha. I think we'll just kinda meet everyone, get to know why we do it, and see where it goes from there! and if you have any suggestions, I'm willing to take them!
@Davidw, I am under the impression that Team iReport has to maybe for the lack of a better word, hustle producers for CNN.com, CNN TV, etc. to get the iReport assignments on air.
Hi Ryn!!!
That sounds great kyle!
@MelissaF - Thanks for the suggestion on the newsletter. I've actually spent a lot of the last couple of days looking at ways to bring back iReporters who haven't posted in a while.
If anybody has any other thoughts, I'd appreciate them.
@MelissaF, I got that email about a week ago too. I've yet to check it out but will soon.
MelissaF
My oldest daughter lost over 130 pounds using Weight Watcher's Point System and exercise and my next to the oldest, had Lap Band surgery in June and has lost 35 pounds so far.
@davidw...just another quick idea..maybe throw in some more CNN merchandise here and there...I personally like coffee mugs ;-)
@Salsteels -- I wouldn't use the word hustle, but be do work with producers at various CNN platforms to try to get great iReport material into our coverage.
@Team...funny, I just got a PM this morning from a total stranger saying I should take a break from iReports and get a life. I kinda agree with him.
@KyleHD, Darn, I wish I could attend the mtgs your organizing!
That's awesome Ryn!
@Ryn...ok..I was thinking about the Lap Band..how did that go for her?...I did the WW thing too.
Ok David ,Thanks , I usually report when a topic on cnn hits a chord. Sometimes I dont think anyone there is listening. Or I feel Im lost In a sea of Ireports. I also noticed that timing of when Ireport Is posted can effect the response level
@KCRep -- Please forward that message to me. I'd like to speak to that person.
Thank you
Maybe summer time is not the best time. A lot of people are out. Maybe wait till the fall. Also, iReport exploded due to the Presidential elections. Now, it’s has to propel all on its own. You get big events like Iran or MJ but these people are going to do it for about 3 weeks and then fade off in the wind.
@davidw..why don't you guys do a "where are they now? video..point out a favorite or interesting post from the past by someone who hasn't been around for awhile.
@torontojim & @Bellydancer you should defiantly try to contact some people in your area and think about starting a group if there isn't already!
@Ryn -- That is wonderful for your daughters. It also sounds like an amazing story. Did they start at about the same time?
@davidw....I deleted it, can I get it back?
Hi everyone, I am currently conducting research into citizen journalism and user motivation for my dissertation at Newcastle University.
iReport had a major influence on my topic choice and it would be great to get some input from all of you.
I would therefore like to ask you to participate in my survey, which can be found at:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=mvgoEG0e5sXprR2m6ILVxA_3d_3d
It should only take 5-10 mins. It is anonymous and only for academc purposes
Thanks alot!
@KCRep, I think that person is maybe jealous & wishes that they could contribute as much as you do! ???
@Bellydancer - The "where are they" video sounds like a neat idea!
@Davidw, does the Situation Room come to iReport wanting to put Situation Room content on iReport?
@Bellydancer -- Great idea. If you have any suggestions of people let me know.
kyle..lol..I did a shout out once..not a great result..but hopefully in the future..
Hey KC!
Melissa she is doing very well. She has not had the first fill as of today. She is sort of at a stand still losing anymore until they tighten the band.
nsaidi It is really awesome, Thanks!
@davidw..that was my private thing I wanted to talk about with the weight loss producer..I wanted to document possibly my lap band surgery...what do you think? To personal?
hi all
HOMBRE EN LA LUNA!!!
The Florida-Colombia Alliance, under the leadership of then Governor Tom Adams enabled me, along with six other Florida college students to travel to Bogota, Colombia during the summer of 1969. Our work there consisted of helping build a schoolhouse in Barrio Alto, one of several slums located on the hillsides outside Bogota.
While everyone else was heading for Woodstock, I had the unique honor of experiencing up close and personal the responses and reactions of my Colombian compatriots by whose sides I stood during that “one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind”.
There were a more than a dozen of us standing in my family’s living room that I called home that summer. Family members, friends, and I were watching on a small black and white TV as Neil Armstrong et al, fulfilled the dream of a generation.
“HOMBRE EN LA LUNA, HOMBRE EN LA LUNA” was their oft repeated salud, raising their glasses to toast ME, the only American in the room: “Los Estados Unidos – You have The Greatest Country in the World”.
Indeed, t’was a moment I shall never forget, one that instilled a permanent sense of pride in my country, forever. Amen.
@kyleHD, Thx buddy! I've started organizing a Toronto's ireporters mtg which will take place roughly 1-2 wks from today. So far I have about 6 interested ireportes from Toronto.
@KCRep -- we can talk about this later. I would like to tell everyone to please let me know if someone is bothering you on the site.
@torontojim that's awesome! You'll have to let me know how it goes!
@davidw...oooohhh...I am watching CNN right now and the firefighters from New Haven are speaking..I just did an ireport wanting more anwers from Sotomayor on that...
http://www.ireport.com/docs/DOC-299003
@david & ZDAN..thanks..david..will think on it. Hey..maybe an assignment? lol Maybe you guys could tell us which ones made you laugh or smile!
@SalSteeles -- The Situation Room has their own assignment page and they decide which questions they will ask and then do all the vetting of the iReporter submissions.
I guess what I am trying to say is, iReport.com revolves around the “On CNN” badge. If people don’t receive the badge, they get frustrated and then lose interest. Does it really matter if you get the “On CNN” bad? Can just being on iReport.com alone be enough?
@davidW, thx for your advice on our upcoming Toronto ireporters mtg. I will post a ireport about our upcoming toronto mtg.
@everyone: If there are any ireporters that I haven't spoken to about our upcoming mtg, pls let me know? Everyone is welcome! the more the merrier! I can be reached here or by my private email at: jimpark123@hotmail.com
@KyleHD, can you come to Toronto? Just kidding but that would be cool!
@torontojim, @KyleHD, @everyone-- I think it's great that people are organizing iReporter gatherings. I think it will be cool for everyone to get to know each other.
I want to encourage folks to email me when you firm up the details and we'll see if we can help spread the word.
You can email me at david.williams@turner.com
Hi all, sorry I'm late!!!
@Millis -- Hi, nice to hear from you
@Davidw See that is some good information to know. So iReport is a resource pool for CNN TV, etc. What about making iReport the first page someone goes to rather than the second page or third page. Maybe making it to home page status.
@torontojim I wish. If anyone though it looking for a nice get away. Mexicana airlines has flights roundtrip to Buenos Aires, Argentina for about $280. That's RT including taxes, that's incredibly cheap because normally prices are well above $1000!
I have also a story idea I like to throw out if I may???
@Salsteels.....good point. I would like to get the ON CNN tag more often. It seems if you don't have video, your opinions don't get noticed that way. I think giving people a little credit sometimes might keep them here. It's an honor to get an ON CNN tag, at least I think it is.
@KyleHD-will do!
@DavidW-I will advise everyone & upload our mtg.
@Millis shoot the idea out! Hope things start looking up.
If you need any help of Citizen Journalist meetup, please feel free to check the link. http://www.meetup.com/coloradocitizenjournalists/
@MelissaF -- Documenting your weight loss surgery could be a really great story and would be informative to a lot of people who are considering it.
It would be a really personal thing though, so please think hard about it before you do it. It might even be worth discussing with your doctor.
We'd love to have the story, but would hate to have you do something and then regret it later.
Ive been using Ireport to document some of my lifes experiences as being an African American...Black in America.. Even though I have view points and perspectives on many issues and topics, the feelings of CNN not hereing me has been discouraging. Most of the time Im responding to your Reporters perspectives that many times I feel dont tell the whole story Or leaves a moral to the story that I concider misleading or incomplete. So I blog ,Write In ,In hopes that CNN will here me. And Respond by giving my perspective Thats outside of getting paid.
David, the story I posted earlier today, is it ok for me to give a first person account of what it's like to go through what I 'm going through, minus the politics?? In other words, give an account of what a homeless person goes through day by day???
@Salsteels, thx that was awsome, great link!
David I have turned in several posts on my oldest daughter.

KCRep but that is what we need to change. I look at a lot of stuff that doesn't have "On CNN." I write comments, etc. iReport seems to be great for taking info and putting it on other media, CNN TV or CNN.com, what about just go to iReport and view it fresh off the press!
@KCRep -- We look for different kinds of media on different kinds of assignments. In some cases we're looking for original still images, others original video, others both. The assignment will indicate what we're looking for.
@davidw...KCRep does have a point..I know we have a lot of ireporters that don't ever get tagged and quickly lose interest. There are many times things are vetted and never used..maybe just a remark from a producer with your new tags would help acknowledge their work...for ie..say KCRep put up a report but it's not needed for a CNN tag maybe a quick thank you or quick good ireport from a ireport producer with your cool new tags would help motivate that person.
I didn't want to bring it up, but you might be the only person who might know this...what happened to Spontaneous?
@Millis -- Sure. I think people would be interested in that. I'm sorry to hear about your situation.
@Nicole, thanks Nicole I am hoping to get out of this mess as soon as I can but it may require my moving again even, who knows where I'll wind up at!!! Atlanta maybe??? LOL!!!
@Davidw your response to MelissaF is why people trust you. Thanks for looking out. Mel, I agree with Davidw be careful about sharing everything with the world. The world if very judgmental.
Hey everyone
@everyone -- I appreciate the feedback on the ON CNN status. We are in the early stages of discussing making some changes to the site to make it more accessible and to make the experience more satisfying. This really helps.
@David, thank you sir, this will be under the "Surviving a tough economy assignment ok??/
@sal and @ davidw...that's why I put it out there...My hubby thinks I get to personal...I would hope it would motivate people, and I have had nasty comments on my weight in my most viewed stuff...so I don't know..that's why I wanted to bring it up...
@Ryn..thanks for sharing about your daughters
@Millis -- That would be a good choice of assignment. We'll keep an eye out for it.
Hi TJCIII
Are there any new assignments coming out soon?
@CNN - I am going to try to get some pictures of the aftermath of yesterdays tanker explosion are you interested in pictures?
@Melissa good luck whatever you do!!!!!
@ireport team- just a quick thought here. To boost up & get more exposurefor ireport, can you folks maybe try & somehow get CNN talent such as Rick Sanchez, Anderson Cooper, Don Lemon, TJ Holmes, etc involved with ireport? These folks draw up a lot of attention on facebook & twitter. Maybe they can sort of also jump start ireport & give it more ntl exposure?
Hi TJ!!!
@Team iReport, I am going to be doing a mix from now on, I will do an assignment if I feel that I can add my two cents, but I am going to be doing reports that I feel are newsworthy. I used to feel that getting an "On CNN" was a pat on the back for a good job, but it came at a price. I want to explorer other avenues and just don't want to do assignments. We are all free to post what we want. Heck, you might think it is a valid news story and expand upon it, all because an iReporter thought it was important.
Hey Mills & Mellisa
Yes Melissa good luck. You can do it!
@TJCIII Why not? I'd like to see 'em. Thanks for thinking of us!
@MelissaF good luck!
@Bellydancer...thank you it means a lot to me!!
Hey Ryn
No problem NSaidi. I tried to get some this afternoon but it was a nightmare over there with traffic, will try after the evening rush hour
@torontojim -- That is a good idea.
@Davidw, might want to think about that conference call with a few iReporters. You will get a lot of great feedback.
Thanks Nicole! My doctor's appt. is in a couple of hours..excited and scared at the same time!...eeehhh!
@Salsteels -- That sounds like a good plan to me. Do what you're passionate about and what you want to do, just as on any other site or in any other platform. Things always turn out better when you feel good about what you're doing.
And that's a good point you make -- we're looking for opportunities to look at iReport stories and see if they could be turned into something bigger. So keep us looped in if you see something like that in your neck of the woods.
The only other problem I have is taking pictures or even videos to which I kinda like to share but not sure just how graphic that would be, and besides, I don't have neither a digital camera or video cam. so it may be a little hard to do with out some images to back it up with. :(:(:(
@TJCIII -- One thing -- please be safe -- don't put yourself at risk! Be safe! Follow the instructions of local leadership and authorities.
@Salsteeles -- That's awesome and we can't wait to see your stories. We always want people to do stories they're passionate about.
@davidw...who's doing the makeup on the anchors today??..they all look really shiny today...lol!
I understand completely nsaidi. They are afraid the rest of the overpass may still collapse.
Most welcome, Melissa. I will be cheering you on.
Great iReport Staff
I have one issue. We are in the midst of healthcare reform. CNN has not sent anybody to Canada, France, England, Netherlands, or any other single payer or universal healthcare countries to do an in depth objective comparative analysis. As an iReporter I have scoured documents from all over the world to look for factual pro and against information.
I would hope that we could get more of these iReports on air. It is a serious matter and many iReporters could provide the real thinking in their area. Even in assignments there are non that tries to bring a real discourse on the issue from an iReporter standpoint.
I have emailed information to the CNN medical reporter with statements that are allowed to go unchallenged that are patently incorrect to no avail. This sometimes makes one wonder if healthcare debate is being restricted.
@nsaid I feel more comfortable being a little less harsh and a bit more on the satirical side. I am not really an arrogant person but my iReports make me look like I am some dictator. I try to be funny. Keyword “Try!”
Hi BellyDancer and TJC111!
@nsaidi do you still have the video i shot while i was there?
@MelissaF They all curse HD!
@davidw..I have a question..a lot of people were hitting my comment boards that CNN and other media was covering MJ way to much..how does CNN respond to critics like that? Do the producers take it into consideration and calm down the reports or ignore them?
Hi Ryn!
@Millis -- I think people will be interested in hearing your story, even if you don't have images. The only thing I would ask is that you be sure to be mindful of other people's privacy. I think it's very brave for you to share your experience, but other people may not want to do that.
@KyleHD Yes I do. It is at home on my hard disk, along with tons of vacation footage I still have to go through. Thanks for reminding me.
@Nsaidi, I am also going to go back and do some assignments that I didn't get to do. Newspapers, What is on your iPod, Google Chrome. Great assignments, I just didn't have the time. Even though iReport has moved on, I am living in the past!
@nsaidi ok just checking!
@MelissaF -- I would encourage you and everyone else to tell the stories that are important to you. We did do a lot of Michael Jackson stories, but that's what people wanted to talk about after he died.
@David, a person's privacy is ALWAYS honored in my book, so I will try to report in such a way it can paint an image in one's mind. I know we've seen pictures or videos in the past, but this will be more personal as well as in realtime.
@Salsteels -- Some of these assignments may be kind of dead in terms of us specifically asking for them, but they may have new life in current events.
Newspapers -- How are things going on in your town now that Rocky is tamed? What else?
Music -- We can always use music reviews and other content of that sort.
Google Chrome -- With all the buzz about the browser, what is your opinion of the OS idea?
I think there is always an appetite for a good story, even aside from assignments. I would suggest looking for fresh angles and new ways of looking at things.
For example, Twitter is more responsive. Feed back from persons your want to talk to is better. Feed back from someone on the other side is crucial, in making it an enjoyable, personalized, want to come back and do it again, experience. This format is actually a good start and could ,if built on rival twitters interest and boost on CNN's popularity. Imagine this, News casters,and viewers, in a real time interaction ...Televised... Ten Varied reporters going back and forth with the public, on specific topics and issues.On hour program. (please excuse my spelling)
@Team iReport, what about CNN Live. Have a lot of iReporters been on the show?
@Millis -- I figured you would, but wanted to say it out loud.
@davidw..You misunderstood the question...I don't have a problem covering something like that...come on you guys showed me sobbing on national tv and I got a lot of your "fake" crying crap...I didn't care...negative comments don't affect me and I don't give them much notice...I put up a great montage of my iReports up to Heal the World and my kaoroke video...lol...I think it's time well spent..
My question is how on a professional level to producers at CNN handle that criticism..calm down the coverage or ignore the critics?
@scorpi2000 -- Your most recent post captured my attention. I think that's a very cool perspective and I think we all want to make things faster and more responsive. Twitter can teach us all a few things.
I also think iReport works in a different way, at least right now. We get things that people have made; people tell their stories.
Here's a broad question: How would you like to interact with the news, and how do you want CNN to interact with you?
@Nsaidi, I am trying to build my social sphere so when I do a story, Team iReport doesn't have to work very hard to promote it. My goal is to get 1000 views WITHOUT the "On CNN" badge.
@salsteels..I have been on that show about 5 times now..great team over there!
@scorpi2000 -- That's a really interesting idea. We'll have to brainstorm on that a bit.
@Salsteels We have had a lot of iReporters on CNN.com Live and we would love to have more. You! We want you, too.
@MelissaF that is awesome!
@Team iReport
Anyway we can get more Healthcare iReports scored??
@MelissaF -- I think we try to tell the story the best way we can. That's true for Michael Jackson or any other story.
@salsteels..a 1000 views is hard without help from the producers, but I did manage to do it a couple of times, but with photos like the Anti-Obama sticker got like over 1800 hits without being tagged and a few comments...so it can be done..my clown on a skyride got more hits than some of my tagged stuff...geee wiz...lol!
@DavidW :):):):). One other question, instead of digging around to find the link to the round table, isnt there someway that that a link directly to the Roundtable be added?? Its hard to find the link buried amongst all the goodies we have.
@EWillies1961 -- I'll talk to our health producers to see what they're working on.
@Nsaidi, Cool, but I am afraid all I would be thinking about is "Don't say the F-word, Don't say the F-word!" That is why I write scripts for my iReports!
this hour went by super fast!
@Salsteels That is a rad experiment. I hope you find success doing that! What techniques do you find are helpful? Let us know if you do something neat, too, of course. We're always hunting for good stories. For real.
@Sal, Melissa - Tweeting your iReports can often be a way of achieving a greater number of hits. ChrisMorrow has a good handle on using Twitter to showcase her iReports.
@Millis -- We usually put a link to it in the site announcement at the top of the main iReport page. I forgot to do it today.
The roundtable blog will always be the top entry in the blog on Thursday.
@salsteels..lol
@ireport staff...I have a great idea for a story...Ireport bloopers...I have quite a few!
@Salsteels -- Have you ever said the 'F' word spontaneously? You can always make notes or something... LOL. Well thanks for letting us know.
@Ewillies, I like your reports on healthcare, my family also watched your stuff. Great job.
@MelissaF I have way to many!!!!!! LOL. My HP questions took me forever!!!!!! haha
Stepping out now, thanks everyone! Will check back.
Melissa, every time I try to do a video my dog jumps up like I am talking to him and wont leave me alone or will start barking
Have a good one nsaidi
@Everyone, no I do not just start screaming vulgarity (except in traffic), but I think I would get nervous and just start saying random things.
@DavidW, kk thanks so much and see all of you again next week maybe!!! :):):)
@zdan-dzien dobry! tweeting, thx that's an awsome idea!
@Salsteels
Thanks. I just do not think enough people are getting the information they need to realize how dire the country's situation is in. The whole issue is just played with for points and money. CNN is the one place I hope would be brave enough to air different points of view without fearing the insurance guys. I know CNN it is tough but this is one of those moments.
@Everyone -- I have a favor to ask everyone before we wrap up for the week.
If any of your iReport friends haven't posted on the site in a while, please shoot them a note to let them know that we miss them.
I've been emailing a lot people, but I'm betting that they would like to hear from the friends they've made on the site as well.
@TJIII...lol...that would make for a great blooper video! I have a lot of me speaking and catching myself saying something incorrect and being frustrated..they are hilarious!
nsaidi and david ...Im a creative, and inventive, think in the future type of guy . Contemplate again what I just proposed. Its my future projection of what can lead the news market in viewer participation and response ,,,and an abtainable concept, It can probly go longer than an hour, creating a new excitment level in news casting .... Got to go now Its been a pleasure talking and listening.... Aspecial THANKS to KyleHD for inviting me ,,He's a great asset to your indeavors. contact me to expand on any concepts
@Davidw, you got it!
@MelissaF -- That would be funny.
Melissa it usually takes me a good 5 to 10 times to make a video
Adios folks, see you around!
will do davidw..thanks!
@TJIII...me too!!
@everyone...peace, love, and happiness to all! Take care hope to see everyone next week!
Have a good one everyone - see ya in the blogs
@everyone -- I'm going to sign off, but thanks for a great meeting.
We'll talk to you again next week, and if you need anything before then you can email us at david.williams@turner.com or at contact@ireport.com
@torontojim -- Dzien dobry! Mowisz po polsku?
Have a great weekend all!
Thx all & good afternoon!
Just a little something I do to promote ireport. Whenever I interview someone for my videos, they ask me what's it for, I tell them for ireport & tell the interviewee all about it & that "you can join too"!
@zdan-I met Lech Walesa about 10 yrs ago in Toronto in the Polish community. If I was a ireporter back then I would have filmed an interview with him for ireport! oh well time flies!!!
@tornotojim - That's incredible! It would have made an interesting iReport.
@everyone - Thanks for the productive conversation today! See you around the site.
