Thousands of gay rights activists took to the streets Sunday during the National Equality March in Washington, calling for equality in marriage and an end to the "don't ask, don't tell" policy.
iReport user clarasimoni, who captured dramatic images, said it was “an amazing feeling to be among all of those people who we fighting for their right of expression.”
"They were nice, excited, boisterous and joyful,” said iReporter Qbubbles of the activists. “They didn't seem angry so much as anxious for something to happen.”
“The whole town has been buzzing,” said iReporter EricaAmerica, who grabbed her camera and spoke to activists crowding outside The White House, many of whom had traveled out of state to take part in the march. and equality in marriage
It's funny. Many gay people want "tolerance" and be respected. I understand that. Until a person disagrees with their lifestyle then the homosexual seems to think he or she has every right to pound them with insults and hatred.
How cool is that!
Some may, and what about all the people that hate gays/lesbians/bi's that will beat them up because of their sexuality? Are you forgetting them?
Oh wait you probably are one. We are all equals and should be treated as such.
Now with that said. NO GAY OR STAIGHT OR BI PERSON SHOULD INSULT ANYONE, and anyone who treats others not as equals should sued a small amount of money. and if they cause violence towards them they should be imprisoned/hung depending on the violent crime.
themou - Why are people concerned with how others live their lives? You have to admit that it would be frustrating to be told you are disgusting, sinful, and hated, right? And it would be frustrating to be discriminated against, and not protected under many laws in many states. It would be frustrating to know that you do not have equal rights and cannot have your own wedding day like your parents, brothers, sisters and friends had.
To be honest, the LGBT community SHOULD be mad. They SHOULD be outraged. Everyone has the right to keep their own opinion - but why stand in someone's way, someone who is not directly affecting you and your life? I just don't get why straight people care so much.
I agree with you that no LGBT member should fire back with insults & hatred - but why do WE get pounded with insults & hatred?
I don't know where to post this as I don't obviously see a link to post a comment.
I wont be surprised if one says that the USA Internet is censored. Some site links are not accessible to some IPs at certain time. It could be the computer or censorship.

Until a person disagrees with their lifestyle then the homosexual seems to think he or she has every right to pound them with insults and hatred.
Some people can let verbal insults roll off their backs. Physical attacks are harder to deal with. Last week, a Senator arguing against the Matthew Shepard Act, stated that homosexuality is equal to bestiality, pedophilia and worse. Am I wrong in calling this guy a bigot or ignorant homophobe? This is an elected leader. Or do I continue to just pay my taxes and stay quiet like a good second-class citizen?
Here's the i report I uploaded today that got deleted immediately.
I’m not even bothering to record a video for this I report, since none of the ones I’ve done have ever been aired on CNN. What’s the point when your videos just get pushed back to the bottom of the last page and only 20 people get to see them? I have a legitimate complaint about the methodology CNN uses to select which I reports make it on air, and which ones do not. Here’s what I’ve noticed:
If you are under 25, gay and male, and willing to talk about anything other than gay rights, it appears that you have a way better chance of getting your I report aired on CNN. If you don’t believe me, check out KyleHD and Naked Boy News. These guys have had more I reports aired on CNN than just about anybody. Are they more talented? No. Are they adding anything new to the stories they report? No. So what is it about their reports, or them, that makes someone at CNN go gaga and put a red stamp on so many of their I reports? I think it’s pretty obvious. If this I report gets deleted, it will be even more confirmation of my suspicions that someone at CNN is more interested in twinks than the news. Here’s something else I find odd. In recent weeks, I’ve been receiving e mails from KyleHD. Apparently, he started a group of I reporters in Chicagoland, and he took the liberty of finding my e mail address and adding me to his mailing list. Here’s one of the recent e mails from KyleHD in which he describes someone who works for this very website, Ireport.com, visiting Chicago:
Hey Guys! OK so here's what's going on. In case you missed the last meeting, Darrell invited us to the opening of his new art gallery exhibit which is in the west loop. After we are heading up to Friar Tuck up in the Lakeview neighborhood. You are more than welcome to attend both!
Also, Kyle Rodgers who is a tech support person for the iReport.com website will be in town visiting, and he has agreed to come and hang out with us and talk with us about whatever.
I figured we should at least somewhat have a topic for each meeting, at least to start with, so this meeting/hang out we're gonna talk about 2 things.
1. Where would you like to see this group go? What will keep you interested?
2. The public view on citizen journalism. Why should they listen to us? What are they attracted to? How do we as C.J. become more appealing to our readers/viewers?
So there ya go! Hope you all can make it!
Darrell's gallery is at 835 W. Washington, Chicago and is open from 5-8pm. Then we'll plan on meeting around 8:30ish at Friar Tuck which is located at 3010 N Broadway St in Chicago, IL.
If you have any questions feel free to text, call, e-mail, or im me.
Feel free to respond to the Facebook event page! http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=126759722229
If you can't make it or would prefer to attend the suburban meeting, let me know!
Hope to see you guys there!
Kyle
Friar Tuck’s bar is located in the heart of “Boy’s Town” in Chicago. I find it a bit shady that this meeting took place in the gayest part of town. I have to wonder how many other I reporters have received communications from Mr. Rodgers. I also have to wonder how KyleHD made it to the CNN studio in Atlanta a few months ago to appear on a live interview with Tony Harris? Who paid for Kyle’s flight to Atlanta? What makes him so amazing that he can receive such special treatment while the rest of us watch our I reports go down the drain?
KyleHD recently dropped this group like a hot potato when a sudden job offer landed him in Seattle for a “social networking PR job”. Any other I reporters getting job offers out there? And why is Kyle reporting on his new job while completely neglecting to mention the name of the company that hired him? After all, he claims to be the new face of this company in social networking.
If this I report mysteriously disappears from this site, I will simply send it to Fox News and ask what they think about all this. It’s all too fishy to ignore. I think it’s time for all I reporters to ask themselves if it’s even worth the effort of uploading to this site when people who are young, gay and under 25 seem to be dominating the airwaves, while so many really worthy reports are being ignored. I will be forwarding a copy of this report to the management of CNN for their consideration as well. I think this Mr. Rodgers might have some explaining to do to someone. I might not complain so adamantly it if these boys were getting airtime for speaking out about the lack of rights of GLBT people, but a quick review of Naked Boy News’ uploads clearly shows that CNN isn’t interested in his opinions on gay issues. It’s as though they are being enlisted into the ranks of the many closet case reporters whose opinions only count when they do not expose the hypocrisy of the mainstream media which conspires to silence the voices of GLBT people all across America. Keep an eye out for more, on air, reports from their latest Twink DuJour Jason Verlaine. He’s uploaded seven I reports and two of them have been aired. I’m not outting anybody. These guys are all well known to the gay community online.
How’s that for investigative reporting? It’s only news when you get the full story friends. It’s time to bring reality to TV.

Freedom
Abu was a young child in Multan Pakistan who loved birds. one day Abu bought two parrots to keep at home as a pet to see how the parrots raise their chicks. After a couple months the parrots learned to a say a few words, one always said, ''I did not know'' Abu called him intelligence officer. The other one always said,’ you did it'' Abu called him the journalist. after couple of years the parrots didn't lay eggs, which made Abu worried.
Abu took them to the vet to figure out what was wrong. the veterinarian didn't know what to do so the vet told Abu just to feed the birds a different type of food. After six months went by nothing happened. Abu prayed to his God (Rab) and asked heavenly light,
Why the parrots aren’t laying eggs ?
Heavenly light said that they are both male parrots. open the cage and let them free , freedom is birth right of all creator .
Blessing on humanity (Rabi) from Mehdi (Imam) and Adam (Jesus) the father and the son with Holy Spirit!
Abu wanted to learn how to know if the bird is male or female the Heavenly light showed abu the joints under the parrots legs. birds are like humans.
Time went by quick Abu happened to be in New Jersey USA working for 7-11 where he met two brothers Joey and Tony. The brothers were in business of import and export and somehow their import and export was done through pigeons.
One day Joey asked Abu while talking in the store that if he had any knowledge of birds and Abu said no, but birds are like humans. they love freedom , have a collar bone , human drop their teeth for age and birds drop their feathers for age. Then one night Joey brought a pigeon at the store where abu worked he told Abu that whenever I try to send this pigeon as a messenger to Philadelphia it turns around and comes back, what is the reason ?
Abu fingered the bird and the bird had eggs ready to be laid. that got them surprised, the brothers had bought the bird from Gino who was the owner of a cake shop was standing right behind got into argument .
Next morning Abu saw Gino brought two partridge in a small cage to know what they were , we went outside opened the cage and try to grip the birds somehow the both partridge flow off . Abu looked in Geno eyes and smiled Geno got mad and left. after couple of hours a guy brought a gift box for Abu in it a small cake freedom written on the cake was from Gino.
Abu came home, prayed to his God (Rab) and asked heavenly light , what is freedom ?
The answer was knowledge.
Human Faith is heavenly light of knowledge restriction on sacred light is eclipse on humanity and blasphemy.
I am, quite frankly, disturbed by the push to integrate gays into society. Society has taken a turn for the worse as the gay lobby attempts to normalize homosexuality by writing it into law. Their likening of their plight to that of black Americans has upset me, because whether or not they conceive of it that way, they are conflating one groups legitimate fight to be acknowledged, accepted and seen as human (i.e. black Americans) with another's questionable(i.e. homosexuals)fight to legitimize their immoral behavior.
The 1st big problem is that gays/lesbians want to steal the term 'marriage' which has always been man/woman. That sounds very intolerant by the gay community, and a direct assault on the validity of 'man/woman marriage.' (nobody is saying gays/lesbians can't be together but use a different word than marriage since marriage is man/woman)
The 2nd problem is keep the children away from it. No public school should promote homosexuality by law.
Those are 2 brief points I would like to contribute, however, I'm just scratching the surface.
I watch CNN on a daily bases and find the channel educational. I own a business in Eastern Panhandle of WV. He have a couple contracts concerning foreclosure and are beginning to be steady after the first of the year. For a period of several months, we have posted Help Wanted ads, and almost nobody responds. Those that do, are no worth hiring. Its very interesting that people are looking for work, but due to scams out there, people are to sceptical to respond to Help Wanted Ads.
Concerning President Obama Receiving the Nobel Award, I am not a judge of people. But, if those that provide the award feel that Obama deserves the award, then it there award and money. Race should have no objectives in there decisions. Obama took on a very difficult position as President. Millions of people are expecting miracles for president Obama. People should not expect miracles. I say, salute Obama for taking on these wars within the US.
