I got a question. I notice that the commenting system on CNN articles seems to be a random mix of "login only" posts (using our ireport account) and anonymous, "anything goes" posts that need to be pre-approved by a moderator. Wouldn't it be easier if everything was simply login-based so we could see our posts immediately?

@kyrogers, I noted the last time I uploaded videos that my Windows Movie maker had an option to compress my videos, I guess it worked???

@Millis yep, if the video posted to iReport successfully, then our back-end system understood the compressed video.

Hah! I've never been a huge fan of pop culture, so I actually had to look up what she's done, in the past.
Reality TV is stupid :(
@kyrogers: Viewer discretion box is disappearin after couple of visits to the post. I used Google chrome and Moz. Initial uploadin of post with viewers discretion check box works fine but after couple of visits to the post it jus disappears!
So....what's on the table today?

@ChrisMorrow re: videos cut short - I'll make a note to check on the status of that - IIRC, it was just a little short, right? so probably best to leave a bit of padding (e.g. fade to black) at the end

I did a couple of video slideshows of pictures I took in Scotland last week and I extended the endings with a black screen for a few seconds so that it wouldn't cut off prematurely. Kinda/sorta worked.

@Ryn - Like I've said before, we're trying to get back into the swing of things with the new site before we unleash a new, awesome photo assignment. Also, with the holidays coming up, I think we might wait a bit before we relaunch Photo Club. But, feel free to submit amazing photography because we're always keen on approving great photos!

@Joyful - The voices section is updated once or twice a week. The on-air section of voices entirely depends on how many iReports make it on TV that week, so that's harder to put a number on.
What's the word on video slideshows versus posting 10 individual pictures? Any guidance?

As you might have seen, we have been having more opportunities for iReporters to ask questions of people whom CNN is interviewing (we did some here and there during the campaign and beyond, including the "Harry Potter" cast), and we hope to do it a lot more in the future!

Any update on the "Collaborative Art Project"? I'm going to be traveling a lot in the next several months and I don't want to miss out. For example, I missed out on submitting travel photos of Australia because I didn't have those pix on the laptop I was traveling with. I just want to make sure I'm prepared and have whatever pictures I need with me.

@Joyful - When it comes to stills versus slideshows, I think it just depends on the stories. In breaking news/hard-news situations, we are generally looking for still images. We use the images in stories and on the homepage. When it comes to features, there's more leeway. If you've got lots of great images, a slideshow is a great way to show volume. But, if you have several high-quality images, go with the stills. I hope that long-winded answer helped!

@alisonv, it is an added feature more for those who don't have an iPhone. The idea is that you can upload stories from any phone to an address unique to your CNN user account. You don't have to upload to "unclaimed" and go through the process of claiming.

The collaborative projects are great! I had a great time with Yadray's Bubble project and it was fascinating to see everyone's very different take on the images, their interpretations and their approach to the project. I think most put "bubble" as a tag if anyone is interested in looking. It was my first iReport collaboration and it was really fun.

Millis, I have Adobe Premiere, but I'm not yet an expert user, unfortunately! I do most iReports on iMovie, although I used Premiere on my olive oil report to balance the sound a little. There was so much noise in the background you couldn't hear the man speaking. After working on it in Adobe, it was clearer. I really MUST get a directional mike! Adobe, of course, has a lot more options. I just don't have the time and patience to learn it well at the moment.

OK...good. As you can see by my reports, that I report about the Federal Reserve and how it was passed in 1913 and basically I have been in shock ever since that this has happened to our country. Because how in the heck can we allow international bankers print OUR MONEY and we pay them interest SINCE 1913. Don't you think we need to do everything possible to listen to Ron Paul's HR 1207 bill to audit the fed. Thanks all

Our Constitution says OUR GOVERNMENT, not an Independent International Bankers called the Federal Reserve, run our monetary system.
Our government is suppose to print and tax to control inflation and deflation, WITHOUT INTEREST.
Ron Paul wants to SIMPLE FOLLOW THE CONSTITUTION and END THE FED. ....like President Jackson did!

I have been an American in the dark for a long time and when I first heard about the Federal Reserve Act 1913, signed by President Wilson WITH THE history of the First Bank and Second Bank when our country was first born, I am just in total shock. I thought no way could this be true, but it is.....HR 1207 is in Congress to AUDIT THE FEDERAL RESERVE. Right now we can't even audit the bank that PRINTS OUR MONEY. This is down right crazy.
