What is the deadline for the project?
@omekongo Yes, by the 18th. We're hoping that a few dedicated iReporters will be able to follow up with the person they profiled throughout 2010, so if it's someone in another city, that may not work. (Though we'd love to see the video anyway!)

@EWillies1961 The deadline is December 18. We're looking for a video (or photo) profile much like the interview you did for the veterans assignment. But -- like I told omekongo -- it'd be great if you spoke to someone you could follow up with a couple of times throughout the year.
This is going to be a big project; I think it has a lot of potential!

Well so far the economy for me hasn't been what I like to see yet but hopefully I can start doing some creative programming after the holidays.
Katie - I'm working on putting something together. It's just really hard to focus on iReporting right now with work and family and the holidays swirling around. I made an appointment to interview someone very interesting this weekend. Hopefully, it will work out.

Hello everyone!! It has gotten quite for the moment here at the office....so......I am actually able to participate in the roundtable! Lots of news stories ......Obama accepts Nobel Peace Prize......30,000 troops have orders for Afghanistan.....etc....oh yes and the weather.
Question. When we go to iReport home page advertising comes up (no big deal) but then sends us to "Bing". It won't stay on page.

I wanted to say something about an iReport that I loved - the one on Bhopal. It was phenomenal. I had, I'm sorry to say, long forgotten that event. It was a great reminder and really well done. Thanks for highlighting it.

I've been having a technical problem on the "voices" page. I am still seeing the same reports that have been there for weeks, but when I click on them, it says "page not found". I refresh my page, turn of the computer, but I get the same message. Are those stories going to start rotating more often? I think it will attract more attention.
i have an idea for an assignment: i have shared with @hhanks, but i thought it would be cool for the ireporters to share their unique talents with the ireport staff, whether it be musical, or athletic, or whatever. (exs: piano, singing, ballet, etc). Just a thought! glad to be a part of ireport!!! :)
@WCNreporter - We are considering the best ways to feature some of the best iReports of the year. Stay tuned (or logged in as the case may be)...
@Alison - I missed that report! My Mother worked for Union Carbide in WVA at the time...horrific event..and I recall being very concerned that she worked at a UC plant.

Another question...When you go to the CNN Video page, there is a tab for iReports. But the reports are usually quite old. That space looks like prime website "real estate". Any way we could see more reports cycled through? I feel like I'm not seeing near the reports I used to. I should have started following more people all along. It is easier to keep up.

The Fallugah Massacre on March 31,2005...that day I was cleaning my apt. watching Cnn on and off, watching 4 contracters killed and there bodies hung on a bridge. That evening my dad called and told me one of the contrators was my cousin Jerry Zovko.
5yrs. later I am starting to feel the anger at the troops
being sent to fight. I am kind of stunned at my sudden feelings about our President...since I support him. 9yrs. it could go on and on.
My son is 17 6ft. 4 and so far he does not have desire for the forces, but his friend wants to join the marines after highschool...I think maybe its to close to home for me.
