I think all the reporters need to get the hell out of there so relief planes loaded will supplies and medical help can get into the airport. Those reporters are just walking around and looking and not helping plus they have food and water in endless supply and those in the diaster have NONE. Get your airplanes OUT of the air so the needed ones can get in and please give your water and food to the ones who need it!!!!!

I take issue with the recent assessments being made by General Honoree (retired). He seems somewhat out of touch. This is not Katrina. And, Haiti is not the United States. So, take a deep breathe and know that we, The United States, are doing ALL that is needed and as fast as we can, as is, the United Nations and others. The "General" has forgotten what it takes to get the "Big Bird" in the air. I say, "General" it's time for you to sit back and stop dishing out lemons.
If only media outlets had brought a search and rescue and medical teams with them. Maybe news outlets should consider using there immense resources to actually HELP while reporting. Wouldn't that be something
Kudos to Robin Roderts of ABC who left all of the water her team was carrying at the ophanage. While it's commendable that the president got right on the ball with sending aid to Haiti, it is an absolute disgrace that the Haitians and those early helpers are basically having to fend for themselves with so little while massive amounts of supplies are kept just out of their reach. With aircrafts landing in Haiti on Tuesday and reporters from varying networks roaming Port au Prince, there is no excuse for those people going without food, water and medical supplies for this long. It appears that the overwhelming amount of time spent on "logistics" is mostly influenced by the fear that The people of Haiti would turn into wild animals. Those people were so busy digging out fellow victims in the first two days that supplies being dropped via helicopters directly over the site would've been met with less urgency and more grace and gratitude. Rather, we see the delay. Seventy-two hours while devastated, weary and terrified people grew more hungry and desparate, thus resulting in likewise behavior. The window for llve rescue often seem to coincides with the amount of time before desperation starts to kick in. Who can blame these people for their frantic foraging for food on day four. When there's no communication from the outside, when three days have gone by and to your knowledge there is no help on the way, you find sustenance even if you have to resort to "looting." I am so proud of the people of Haiti who for the most part seem to be letting their faith fortify them at this time.
CNN is performing extraordinary job in delivering news and information about the Haiti destruction.Regarding the MISSING PEOPLE PICTURE GALLERY, it's a tough attempting to click through five hundred pages with six thousand pictures as of today at this hour.Can you, please, if possible, create a Flicker or slide show with with a feature that allows the user to stop at the picture of interest during the show?

I dont understand ARE ALL THE HAITIAN DOCTORS DEAD? The hospital colasped but there must be some doctors around. We should also look into sending the the injuered to other hospitals in other parts of haiti. Sending resources from other contries is good but we should also use those that are in haiti. Its a poor contrie but the education is at a verry high level. PlEASE USE THE HAITIAN RESORCES, THIS WAY YOUR HELP CAN BE MORE EFFECTIVE

What has happened in Haiti is very saddening and every time i try to put myself in your shoes i just tear up.
