With much excitement, we welcome seeitnow to the Millionaire's Club for hitting 1 million total page views on his iReports. Journalistic curiosity, investigative tendencies, production value and a touch of black humor set his body of work apart. Hard to imagine anyone else who would aspire to find out exactly what constitutes "Canadian food."
The Vancouver, British Columbia, resident has been in his element covering the 2010 Olympics, jetting off to Central America in the middle and then returning to Canada just in time for the finishing stretch. His world travels and cultural observations have made for great citizen journalism. Since he always signs his e-mails to us with "much metta," we'll return the favor this time around. I signed up for iReports just over a year ago not having really anything in mind other than catching up on some news from a different and more personal perspective. As it turns out not only have I had an opportunity to share some of my stories but I've made some great friends along the way. The word community is used often on the Internet but on iReports it's turned out to be a very accurate description in the warmest of ways.
Thanks to all my wonderful friends and especially the hard working staff in Atlanta, you're all wonderful.

I guess my first comment is just what is the difference between amateur and professional? Is it a paycheck? If so, guilty as charged but get used to it because as the Internet continues to expand it's reach "Citizen Journalism" will continue to grow. Here's where the viewer benefits greatly because unlike years past where we had little choice you now have thousands of journalists or story tellers to pick from (I'm a story teller and conversationalist). I remember the days when there was only one or two such as Walter Cronkhite or Ed Murrow.
For example I enjoy DesireG and I always look forward to her stories. They're sort of a cross between Molly Ivens and a rap song and they're very good. If it weren't for iReports I'd never get a chance to see her masterpieces.
Journalists are not permitted to have a public opinion and I do so that's why I try to stay away from reporting politics or controversy. If you want that and you want it good, tune into to CNN on any weekend where they have a budget and the best in the business. Instead I prefer low profile, curiosities that have a story to explore. An iReport equivalent of CNN's, Jeannie Moos if you will.
I've been using Cross Platform reporter lately because that seems to cover a lot of base without the responsibility of journalist.
Finally to all aspiring Journalists, Reporters and Story Tellers at CNN, iReports. Let me take a few lines to state how lucky we are to have the opportunity to hang a ride off the CNN Brand. Since it's inception some 30 years ago by a crazy man from Georgia with an even crazier idea to start a news network CNN has become the undisputed worldwide leader in news deliver the world over. Millions of people around the world tune into CNN in their hotel room and are instantly transported to the warm and fuzzy feeling of home everyday. Recognize the honor and privilege we are able to have with a brand as significant as CNN. Ask yourself for each report you do, is this worthy of the CNN brand and it's hard earned audience? You have a duty to your audience to make sure you do.

I do not know how Senator Bunning is keeping his job with his latest display of foul antics. I personally have worked all my life and find myself for only the second time in my life collecting unemployment. Iam 51. My tax dollars go to help everyone else in other countries yet when Americans need help we hear remarks like "tough shit." I might add it was his party which put us here in the first place. As an American I am tired of our country worrying about everyone else and not their own. This has always been the case and enough is enough. President Obama needs to step in and make this happen or this country will face bigger problems with the number of individuals which this will effect. I am a single woman, I can not wait weeks while these two parties pussy foot around and play childish games.
