Hello! from Noddyland !!  Who won the Royal Wedding Contest? and can't we have a CNN Identity Card?  When I went to do the 11 hours challenge, some Institutions wanted to know whether I had a CNN ID.  I said my ID was my Tshirt.

Hi everyone and welcome to the roundtable.

I want to start by letting you know about some cool news we got this week.

The Walk Across the World video that many of you participated in has been nominated for Webby Award.

We'll have more details in a separate blog post, but we wanted to let everyone know, because you can vote to help pick the winner.

Here's the link:

We'd love for you to vote for Walk Around the World and encourage all your friends on Facebook, Twitter and other social networks to get involved too.

More than 400 iReporters shot videos that were included in this video, so we really want them to win.

Hi Sunethra,

Our friends in PR and marketing will be announcing the winner soon, but I'm not exactly sure when.

We don't have badges for iReporters, but I know some people have made their own.

Hi everyone, David perhaps Ireports could make a standardized badge format for those inclined to wear one. Maybe some of those who designed badges could contribute their work? Do I see a contest here ?

Not to just wear one Nu... only when there is an important assignment to do, like the 11 hour challenge, one or more of the Institutions asked me whether I had a CNN ID

So what i've been doing is uploading a presentation in imovie of the photos i want to include... do you think the problem is my internet service or the ireport page? because it happens every time...

I wanted to tell everyone about a new assignment we just launched.

We're working with the producers at Fareed Zakaria GPS to bring iReport questions to the amazing thinkers, newsmakers and world leaders they bring on his show.

Hi mariyglesias,

You might have better luck by uploading your photos as individual files. You can post up to 10 at a time as long as they're not bigger than 600 MB.

It will also be better for us because it's easier for us to use individual images.

hi dsashin,mari,ander,wjoreilly.

shari is famous to all cnn viewers but Sri Lanka is strict.

Here, if I do Ireport I just tell them that I'm an ireporter but I'm not connected with CNN and the producers has the final say to approve the stories. Some will allow you to interview or feature them, some will not. Some will ask for a formal letter. It's challenging and fun!!!

There's one other thing the Fareed Zakaria folks are really interesting in trying and I want to see what y'all think about it.

They had an idea for a Global Penpal assignment where we would match iReporters up and encourage them to get to know each other.

Two questions about that:

1) Does that sound like fun? Would y'all want to do that?

2) What would we do to make it iReport-y? What sort of questions do you think it would be interesting to explore? Are there challenges we could try together?

I think the global ireports are the most fun, we get to see everyone's perspective. I think the penpal idea is great!

it would be nice to include something about the country you live in. For example, since i live in costa rica, i would explain to my penpal about the fauna, or a special holiday we only have here.

I would love to find out how the governments budget works with a few "we the people," adjustments, considering Congress' concern for balancing the budget and making America profitable again it should be a no brainer and give us a good indication of who deserves to speak and vote for us. It would be a show of their investment of America, How much money would be trimmed from the budget if we reduced their pay to 12.00 an hour, ridding them of lobbyist agendas, huge campaign budgets and perks given because of backdoor politics. For eight years the rich have been able to save and now it is time to spend (a ten year break..greedy), if they can not find it in the budget...their pockets and pocketbooks will be just fine.

Gotta love "freedom of speech"!

Oh, and speaking of freedom, something we all say we want , and are willing to send troops into battle for; there is sickening false righteousness resulting in Laws that ultimately trample freedom. Should we be clones of one another or will we ever allow individual serenity?

hi all...from Nigeria

I think the idea of an identity card is necessary because in my country where the news are you will need identification as a reporter to get any news.

I think those who have done their own ireport ID cards should upload them so that we can do ours in their patterns.

Racism, sexism and disrespect are alive and well at the VAMC in Jackson Mississippi. The worst culprits are Blacks within the AFGE Local 589 .Cyber bulling, slander, defamation of character is the norm.  Employees are out of control and law suits are prevalent. There is no respect, there is simply chaos. End result Veterans health care is suffering. Why? Unions specifically the AFGE Local 589 is out of control. When does Robust debate over step its boundaries and turn into harassment.

I can't be here at 3:30, but WHY has CNN NOT reported on the new, universal healthcare bill passed by the Vermont House and Senate?  Seems to me this would be BIG news, but we are apparently under some sort of media black-out, as NO news station is reporting this wonderful and heroic effort by the people of Vermont and their legislators!  People in other states need to know this CAN be done!  My email is retiredinvermont@hotmail.com if anyone has questions!
