What ho, everyone
While we're getting started I've got a couple of quick things I want to tell everyone about.
We just launched new Facebook integration this morning! You can now link your iReport account up with your Facebook account so that it will automatically post your iReports on your Facebook wall.

I think you can watch live CNN video on the Android app, so I would think you would be able to watch it.
I know that CNN.com will be streaming it live and that their will be a rebroadcast at noon ET. so you can watch it there if you're near a computer.

One issue with the droid app is that it does not seem to save the user login so you must login each time.
In addition to the Royal Wedding, there is a big weekend for Miss Catherine Middleton's birthday on Sunday, May 1st. The same day celebrates Pope John Paul's Sainthood around the world.
That's outstanding news sbeasla. Happy to hear that.
I'm sure we're going to have some new assignments soon.

Hi GHung, I saw your iReport about the beatification of Pope John Paul II. We were talking with our belief blog editor about the ceremony.
I'm curious, did anyone ever meet the pope, or see him speak?

I think auto-login is an important fix that would be helpful.
May Day is a big month for events. There are Spring festivals. Also, the Mayor elected Rahm Emmanuel will have an inaugural at Millennium Park's Pritzker Pavilion on May 16th.

Hi Everyone!! David, I found out some information about an iReport relief fundraiser for Japan. I will send you a mail with the info.
@ewillies1961 - I would also like to be able to attach more than one photo onto my assignment like you can via the website. If you're submitting remotely, you should be able to send in a few photos instead of just the one.
The former Pope John Paul II visited Chicago several years ago for a Mass Service at Grant Park, now Millennium Park.

Here in the philippines, theres a shrine for the pope that will be inagurated. The pope visit that place in morong bataan which serves as refugee area to vietnanese. Theres also a lady here who had embraced the pope when he visited here. Ill try to make an ireport about it,this weekend.

I know you can't make everyone love what you write or review.

That's a good question sbeasla, with a bunch of possible answers. You can never go wrong by ignoring jerks on the internet, but if you feel like you want to respond then that's fine too.
You should also hit the report violation button if you feel like the criticism crosses the line.

Glad the time works okay. It's a challenge to find a time that works for folks all over the world.
That is how good are photos are videos and I have one of the talking to all the cardinals in a reunion and I think even makes a joke

@sbesia I find that it is best not to respond to senseless comments. If there is a legitimate question your report.. then to answer makes sense. Engaging or Defending one's post doesn't end up really working. it seems to make these internet crazies go even crazier!!
@KCRep - I'm no better than anyone else. We each have our own way to relying a story to the audience and each voice is unique and fresh. :)
@Pixel - That makes perfect sense. I always answer the questions and ignore the negative feedback. :)

I am all for the royal wedding, lord knows we could all use something alittle brighter in our day right now BUT
does anyone remember that this Sunday is the beatification ceremony for Pope John Paul II. That seems like news that is as important as William and Kate getting married. I would say more important

The coverage of the Royal wedding was superb. The only problem was with that idiot Quest who kept getting his facts wrong. Could I recommend an orthodentist to him?

You asked if someone ever met the Pope or hear him speak. Well I went to Rome and heard him speak a few times and I also sent you guys a report with a photo that I took in 1983 when he came to San Marino. He certainly had a dominant and captivating personality. Now whether you are or not a believer you must acknowledge this.
Those 3 reports still haven't been taken out.
