I did see that, sorry I hadn't had a chance to respond. Our moderators took the discretion banners off of your reports because they weren't needed.

Ah...OK...david, figured the subject was controversial so trying to error on the side of discretion.
I'm curious. What did y'all think of the open forum last week? Is that something we should do more often?

@k3vsDad - Controversial is fine. We normally only use the discretion banner when there's violence, language or nudity or something that would be really shocking for someone to click on.
The Iraq report, mentioned by Davidw above is very well done.
Do we know how it was done - Powerpoint / Apple Keynote?
It's a great way of bringing a report, thats for sure - and thank heavens that war is over.
(Now Iran next, possibly, though).

One thing I noticed over the weekend were all the "ireports" with links for folks to watch football games, isn't that just spam?
I'm not sure how they did it Alun. One of our webmasters built it. I don't know how they coded it.
Yes, The football ads were spam. Our moderators took them down.
Don't know what has changed, but it seems that uploads are going much, much quicker today than before. Hope it's not a glitch...LOL.
The open forum was basically a roundtable post, but with out the iReport Team because we were short staffed. We basically wanted to give folks a chance to talk even though we weren't around.

Does anyone follow other iReporters, but get the email advising of a new iReport an hour after the post goes live?
I do, but am sure it was quicker before the upgrade.

Seems I get notification of new iReports almost immediately on my end. I'm usually the first to view and comment.

@AlunHill -- I don't use the email notifications because I'm pretty much always on the site. I just keep an eye on my main page. I'll ask Pete though

It still take a long time to view videos, it stops, starts, splutters ends stop, is this only happening to me I wonder?
