It’s a new year, and we’re looking for a new person to join Team iReport. We’re a team that regularly looks for creative and innovative projects to pursue, helps tell some of the world’s most important stories, and has fun while we’re at it. If that sounds like a group you’d be interested in being a part of, we’d love for you to apply!

iReport Associate Producer

iReport APs are responsible for vetting iReports and sharing those stories with the CNN audience. Candidates should have a solid news judgment and drive to share compelling iReports with the world. In addition to vetting, associate producers are responsible for producing original, iReport-driven content for CNN.com, interacting with iReporters, and conceptualizing original assignments to solicit participation from the CNN audience. This position is based in Atlanta.

Sounds very promising indeed but could I ask why it's based in Atlanta when it sounds like the sort of thing that could be done from anywhere in the world?

@HarryWales, @Luxorhouse We hope to expand our team internationally in the near future, but for now our editorial team is based in Atlanta. Having our group here allows us to not only brainstorm and work together closely as a group, but also coordinate more easily with CNN and HLN colleagues here in Atlanta. (It's a lovely city, though -- you should come visit!)

Probably, this position came at the right time to bring my long awaited extremely creative and innovative projects from a global perspective with specialization on the African continent to the table of CNN.

Yes, Atlanta is beautiful...been there many times, but my home is in Wisconsin. I've just returned from a year working in the UAE, and Skype works wonders for long-distance brainstorming.

I do not believe that any of the candidate get it. Americans need jobs, students need help to pay for loans,and the economy need help to growth.I Which the candidates of the Gop will stop using Afro-Americans as excuse to gain political power.I know that I will not not vote a racism man in the white house. Mitt Rommey, Newt Gingrich,and who ever elese better wake up. Black peoples will not let you use them, for your evil doings. I will not be voting for secret member of the KKK in the white house. I you tell what important to me the issues,not no story. Espcially the issues that involved hate crimes aganist Black Americans. I do care about the party of Republican,Democrat, or tea. I am only concern about the issues again that would also include the protection of Black American. If attack one of the others, do it on your personal time. Do not disappointed and many others on the issues.
