This iReport is part of an assignment:
Bailout outrage |
Bailout Outrage
This goes beyond anything I have ever seen. They couldn't get it through the house, so now it bypasses them and goes to the senate, and gets attached to other economic bills that were expected to pass. They bundled it in with relieve from the Alternate minimum tax, higher fdic insurance, and a renewable energy tax incentives.
Its the same bill, but has been bundled with other items that were ready to be passed anyway.
So just like the stuff that got pushed through with the katrina relief bill, this "bailout relief bill" has to ride the coat tails of other bills to get through.
If it can't stand on its own, there is a reason to not send it through people. I am seriously dissapointed and disgusted with this. Believe this, I will not vote for any incumbent any more. You got in, you failed, now get out.
