This iReport is part of an assignment:
My first car |
Lincoln Mark VII
My first car was a powder blue 1984 Lincoln Mark VII. I learned to drive in it and then inherited it from my mom upon her purchase of a mini van. I was seventeen. Having a fully-loaded luxury car as my first vehicle, even one two years older than myself, has somewhat ruined me for every car that came after. I used to wash it by hand every Saturday and used an old toothbrush to scrub the white walls. It was an old boat, but I loved it. Lots of memories in that car. It was a sad day when, just before heading off to college, I had to trade it in for a car with better acceleration.
