Making your own app grows in popularity

Google recently revealed it has a new Google Earth app that allows users to make their own apps. Smarturbia will let people rely on the Google Earth/Maps API to create the apps that have many features that can be customized. This seems to be part of a growing trend to allow people to have more control over their apps. Technology is moving in a direction that gives more users power.

People seem to be embracing the idea of creating their own apps, and Google is not the only place that is providing this opportunity. Infinite Monkeys, a platform that lets users build their own apps, reveals that this concept is growing in popularity. More users are experimenting with the idea of trying out their own apps and creating something unique. Infinite Monkeys shares that apps can be designed for the iPhone and Android. Through the use of drag and drop technology, people can make and publish a free app within minutes. The apps can be customized for a variety of projects, and they can even be sold.

The idea of giving users the option of making their own apps is increasing among companies. However, most people lack the programming skills necessary to create apps. This is why some businesses are taking out the difficult aspect of coding by using drag and drop technology to simplify the process. Infinite Monkeys reveals that DIY mobile service makes everything easy for the person interested in creating an app. There is no need to spend hours programming or coding. Instead, users can go directly from creation to publication and see their apps sold in stores.
