    Justice for Trayvon!

On Saturday, July 13, 2013, George Zimmerman was acquitted in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin. That verdict was immediately met with protests, demonstrations and rallies all across the nation. While the majority of them were peaceful, there were a few that turned violent and resulted in clashes with the police and some arrests.

Three days later, passions are still running high in the City of the Angels and the protests and rallies continue all across Los Angeles, including Downtown LA. Late Tuesday afternoon, on the steps of LA City Hall, Trayvon supporters of all ages and races came together to let their voices be heard and known. They came to send the powerful and profound message that they will not let Trayvon’s death be so quickly forgotten and will continue to seek justice for Trayvon and his family that was denied by Zimmerman’s acquittal.
