    1961 Rambler American Convertible

    This was my first new car. I bought it  off the showroom floor  when I was 17. I paid $2295.00 for it and the payments were $61.68 a month for 3 years with a small down payment. I was the only girl around to have a new car, actually back then not a lot of  school kids had cars.  I was always into cars, and still love them! This little awesome car looked European back then. It was a brand new model for 1961. Those were the days!
