About Cory Monteith, Glee and Substance Abuse

I was saddened by Cory Monteith’s passing away. It was somehow tragic for Cory to pass away due to accidental overdose of a certain substance combined with an alcoholic drink. I hope that people who are right now suffering from various types of depression and are using certain substances to escape from depression would seek help from friends, relatives and family members. The only way to get away from substance abuse is to seek help from your loved ones and from people who can make you leave such addiction.

I love to watch Glee. I watch such TV series  because it’s a unique musical TV show. I watch it together with my 12-year old daughter Beatrice. The actors in such a show are very talented since they can act, sing and dance. The show is a comedy, drama and musical all rolled into one. Cory played the role of Finn Hudson in such a show. Cory Monteith was a natural actor and looked much younger than his age. His character on Glee was a star quarterback of William McKinley High School’s football team.  He was also the lead male of his school’s glee club. I think Cory will be best remembered for his role as Finn Hudson in the TV series Glee. In that show, he had 2 love interests- Quinn and Rachel. Finn was the typical star football player who enjoys being in a glee club. Cory would surely be missed by his co-stars and co-workers on the TV series Glee. Glee has so many fans from around the world and we will surely miss Cory Monteith’s role as Finn Hudson in the TV series Glee.

I know that many talented and productive people out there are somehow addicted to certain substances. If you are right now suffering from substance abuse, then seek help right away because it may kill you later on. I think talented and productive people should not waste their lives on substance abuse because they have the talents, skills and abilities to be creative, innovative and ingenious. Robert Downey Jr. is a Hollywood celebrity who showed to the world that a person can recover from drug addiction and become rehabilitated later on. I think people who have the problem of substance abuse should seek help from others who can lead them away from such a menace. All it takes is determination and willingness to get away from substance addiction. All it takes is clean fun combined with kindness to your self and positive outlook to get away from depress
