How Much Are You Paying Per kWh?
Last month, I was paying 3.4 cents per kiloWatt hour for my electricity. This monthy, I got the bill, and the price has suddenly changed to 6.3 cents per kWh. There was no notice, there was no warning, and there is nothing I can do. (believe me, I have tried). We went from a $250 electric bill every month to a $535 electric bill. And, that was a month that we used next to no heating or cooling systems at all. How does one suddenly come up with an extra $285 a month? And, unfortunately, here in Ohio there is only one option for electricity: Ohio Edison. There are no competing companies from which I can choose. And, I have looked into all assistance programs, and I qualify for none of them. I racked up a few good hours worth of time on the phone with managers at Ohio Edison. I have exhausted every avenue.
I'm curious as to what others are paying per kWh for their power?
