My fitness & vegan lifestyle!
My name is Sonali. I'd like to share with you the incredible benefits of my fitness & vegan lifestyle. To begin with, it was an uphill battle, a big eye opener to a whole new world & eventually a very rewarding experience.
So, I have been a vegetarian all my life. In Jan 2012 I became a dedicated vegan & developed a new passion for my workout.
- I have been in good shape for the most part of my life. However, due to some changing circumstances in my life, I let myself go for a while & packed on 50 extra pounds in 3 years. I wasn't happy with my body. I then committed myself to a strict diet & exercise plan. I cut out junk food completely, hit the gym really hard sometimes twice a day & lost all that extra pounds in six months.
- I also went through some stress related hair thinning from my scalp. I had tried every possible hair treatment but nothing really worked until I started a nutritious plant based whole foods diet. Eventually my hair started growing back within a few months. I now have thick, healthy hair.
- I am also enjoying a robust health & my energy level is through the roof. People tell me I look a lot younger than my age.
- I no longer diet, I don't count calories, I enjoy my every bite & I eat well. I am in the best shape of my life. So, eating healthy vegan food, exercising my mind & body has become a way of life for me.
I have made these positive changes by relying solely on my intuition, staying determined & using my will power that has helped me in becoming more self aware & a strong positive thinker. It has also improved my mental clarity & is keeping me focused. Most importantly, I have learnt to never take my mind & body for granted. So, these are some of the serious results one can achieve by doing some serious exercise & eating healthy plant based food. The key is "getting into the right frame of mind" & "staying committed".
