Designer Nursery Fit for a Prince

In the UK, the biggest baby news recently has been that of the newly born royal baby, Prince George. Son to Prince William and Kate Middleton, the little prince was born on 22 July amidst lots of speculation about who might have designed his nursery. No photos have been released yet, but the royal nursery is expected to reflect the modern, down-to-earth manner that the royal couple are known and admired for.

The royal baby has sparked an interest in designer nurseries, a phenomenon that has come over from the USA to the UK in recent years. My interior design company specialises in children’s room design and I’ve loved creating nurseries for parents’ own little princes and princesses. Though decorating your baby’s nursery is an intensely personal experience, a designer can help if you are stuck for ideas, or have too many and need help editing them down. I’ve added some photos of baby rooms that I’ve recently helped complete.
