This iReport is part of an assignment:
Bailout outrage |
So much for a government for the people
Well, everyone, now we know that our voices really do not matter. I called my Congressman, my Representative, and left messages with anyone I could get through to, but they all voted yes anyways. It is a sad day in America where the blinders are pulled from our eyes and we find that we have no control at all. Everything we believed was a lie. We were played into believing that our Government would do what they are supposed to do and represent the will of the people while in reality the politicians are all too greedy to care what we want.
The question now is how long do we have until the market collapses in spite of itself? This bailout plan cannot solve the problem, it is simply just a band-aid to stave off total collapse for possibly a few years. What will they say when it becomes apparent that the Bailout Plan was a bunch of B.S. and we are in the next Great Depression?
Stay tuned, we will see soon enough ...
