Some of you might be wondering the reason the sudden madness behind my two recent posts in regards to Gloria Defeo (@gloriahere). The first post (which may be found here: http://tmblr.co/ZSiFSyYHjXdy) is to show to people how vile and vicious others can be, especially those non-Bahrainis who claim to be supporting the Al-Khalifa regime, and how they claim they are speaking their opinion and using their right to freedom of speech. Statements that defame, threaten, and incite hate that could possibly cause danger to someone's life are not an opinion and are not covered by freedom of speech laws (at least not in the U.S. where Gloria is from). Her recent tirade in calling for the removal of US Ambassador to Bahrain Thomas Krajeski is what led me to write the first post. Although Gloria is not new to publishing slanderous, defamatory statements on her Twitter account, this was the first time I was aware of her calling for, and very insistently so, the removal of a US government official from their post abroad. Upon seeing those tweets and being aware of the current instability in Bahrain, my mind immediately went to the events that unfolded not too long ago in Benghazi, Libya. Whether those events were premeditated or were a result of the rage incited by the despicable video that was circulated is irrelevant. What is relevant is the fact that Gloria's tweets were above and beyond the reasonable condemnation of a government official siding with what loyalists would say is the enemy. Her tweets were sent out a multitude of times, almost as if to rile up the loyalists to take action at that very moment. Her tweets regarding Ambassador Krajeski continued and even included slanderous accusations of blackmail, threatening the Bahraini government, terrorism, and even attempting to get Bahrain under Iranian control. In that post, I also included information that linked Gloria with being a Zionist sympathizer, although she claims that she is a newly reverted Muslim. The need for this in that post is to show that her motives are not for peace in Bahrain, and seemingly she only chose Bahrain due to some conspiracy theory of Iran's involvement in the Bahrain uprising and her immense hatred for Iran. The second post (which can be found here: http://tmblr.co/ZSiFSyYMVpi3) was to prove what I'd stated in the first post regarding her connection to the Zionist entity, or at least her being a sympathizer and prove that her claim to having a new found faith could not be further from the truth. Our brothers and sisters in Palestine, who've lived decades dealing with this very type person, would agree, I'm sure. I wrote that in order to help open the eyes of ALL brothers and sisters in Bahrain. Whether loyalist or opposition, Sunni or Shia, I wanted to make it known that those who tell you they believe are actually saying under their breath that they do not believe. I am certain that everyone in Bahrain, opposition and loyalists alike, are tired of the fighting, the hurting, the insecurity, the distrust and want to get back to a normal life. This can happen and it will happen insha'Allah, but first, you must realize and understand: those who say they are your friend, who say they support you are deceiving you and trying to continue to create tension and pressure and most of all, hate in your beautiful country. May Allah SWT bless you and guide you all to solidarity and an end the bloodshed and violence.
