The Traveler's Best Point of View
The best way to travel is by plan with pre-paid reservations and advanced notice of arrival time. Thinking ahead, I booked my hotel reservations early for a professional conference group at the Fairmont Waterfront overlooking Vancouver Harbour and Canada Place in British Columbia, Canada.
Fortunately, the Fairmont Waterfront suite was available and ready after my cross-country air flight from O’Hare Airport in Chicago, Midwest, to Dallas-Fort Worth in Texas in the Southwest, flying west over California’s Pacific Coast, up to Seattle Washington, and north to Vancouver, British Columbia, in Canada. I had the best window seat aboard the airplane overlooking the the American and Canadian Rockies mountains.
After flying across and the U.S.A. and north to Canada during the early-bird flight from the Midwest, I was exhausted and needed a good respite before I embarked on the next journey for the following day,on the chartered bus group tours to Victoria and the Butchards Gardens, the Fairmont Empress and High Tea in the afternoon there.
A good travelling tip is to check bed pillows and remove the pillow cases for fresh Down’s pillows which offer the best night’s rest. If the pillow provided does not appear fresh and acceptable to a savvy traveller’s standards, then, ask for another pillow and clean bed linen cases.
A good hotel always provides excellent service and amenities for travelers.
