This iReport is part of an assignment:
Calling all Clinton supporters |
Hillary will always be my hero
I was so involved in the election this year, starting with the primaries. I went to my district caucus, first time and I am almost 60. I donated another first.
I was so upset when she lost the ticket. It was like a death. I went through all the stages, Grief, denial, bargining, anger, finally accepted but very hesitant with the last.
Obama gave wonderful speaches but I didn't want someone that could just inspire, I wanted to know what their own ideas of what they were going to do. I didn't get this from Obama like I did from Hillary.
As Obama has been able to get out of his head and bring it down alittle, I have grown to know that he will do the job we need done. This includes my ideals, and what I think the country needs.
I am feeling that excitement again. Didn't think I would. Other side has become more of a joke with each day. So many games and tactics. I know the difference too, between strategy vs tactics. Just sound bites and lots of dishonesty.
