This iReport is part of an assignment:
Your favorite Eid traditions
The Night before Eid
I live right near Mosque Road, an area that is predominantly Muslim, in Bangalore. As a non-muslim I find that it's different life in this part of town. The sense of community and identity is stronger, which is unlike the rest of Bangalore. Last night, I took my friends to experience Iftar, when the streets come alive with the rich aromas and colours of traditional Muslim food. There were shops selling camel meat as well, although I've never before tried anything unusual. In the end, I did try it! It was delicious. I would definitely think that Iftar, on the night before Eid, is something that people of all ages must experience once in their lives.
Eid Mubarak everyone.
