Protest of tar sands mega load shipment through the Nez Perce reservation in Idaho.
For four days this week the Nez Perce tribe in northern Idaho and environmentalists have been protesting the transport of mega load shipments destined for the Canadian tar sands through the nez perce reservation and the wild clear water river corridor. in this video we were watching this mega load inch across a small bridge at fish creek. the forest around us and the creek below are some of the most wild and Pristine nature in our our State. Under the permit the shipping company promises that there would be no traffic delays over 15 minutes however it took about an hour for the load to inch over a tiny bridge on this remote highway that isn't really designed for the weight.
