Creative school uniform hacks
Too many a school uniform
I see that most Schools in the Western world hardly wear School uniforms to School; they mostly wear all manner of Cloths to School. Unlike here in Nigeria where a private School could authorize their pupils to have not less than three School uniforms.
The Government Schools are not left out. In Imo State, the Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha in his free education promise made School uniform for the pupil across the State, making many Schools to have one School uniform at the same time.
This has generated a lot of criticisms because School uniform is supposed to distinguish one school from another in this part of the world. Some people say it is not right for all pupils in Public Schools in the State to have one uniform, as this would make it difficult to identify pupils of different Schools. Others argue that the uniform is cheap, while others are worried that the Government wasted a lot of money purchasing the uniform abroad when the local tailors in the State are dying of hunger.
That is not all, so many artisans are crying in the State, complaining of no patronage from the government, and whereby there is no money in circulation, ordinary people hardly patronize them, making life generally difficult in the State.
Now that so many Schools have the same uniform as seen in the last Children’s’ day celebration usually marked with match- pass, one can hardly tell each School from another through their uniforms.
