CNN PRODUCER NOTE photogomz gave this a try early Monday, calling it a learning experience: 'As a photographer it was a challenge to capture it. It's a lot of trial and error to get the settings right. As an artist I'm amazed by the displays the universe has to offer. I've photographed the moon and landscapes, adventuring to play with night photography was another step and what a better chance to do it that during a celestial event. The process starts by allowing more light to hit the camera sensor and increasing the ISO the post production was done by uploading the series of images to Starstax which aligns the images to create the trails as the objects in the sky move.'
