This iReport is part of an assignment:
Small Master Bath with Big Impact
We tiled everything (floors, shower, and backsplash) in 12x12 white marble with some smaller mosaic marble tiles as accents. To keep the small space as visually open as possible, we opted to forgo a tub and went with a glass walled steam shower.
We upgraded the original single vanity to a double sink cabinet with lots of storage. The mirrors are actually inset medicine cabinets for extra toiletry storage. We mounted a wall cabinet above the toilet for even more storage space, and have never missed the eliminated linen closet.
For the fixtures we chose oil rubbed bronze to keep with the simple light and dark color scheme.
Converting this bathroom into a private master bath with a simple, soothing color palette, is one of the best choices we made in renovating our home. Aside from loving the aesthetics of the space, we're just so thrilled to have a bathroom space of our own that doesn't get overrun by "tubby toys!"
