it was unseasonably cold and rainy. I forgot the raincoat i bought at home so i had to borrow my fiance's fleece pullover while we walked the city. I also have let my hair go early grey. I walked into an upscale shop and was admiring a scarf. the clerk at the store told me to put down the scarf because it was on display near the window. i asked if there were any others to see since i liked the one that had caught my attention. she stated coldly hat there were no scarves for me in the store, and that the one i admired was already sold to someone.' i felt like a piece of dirt.
