REACH OUT PROGRAM OF BAE
The children in the world today are our foundation for building a better future. It is crucial that we take care of these children especially those who are in poverty. Those who are in poverty do not have the resources they need to help themselves. For instance, there are many children in the Philippines today who are unable to attend school because they do not have enough money to do so. They may also not have anyone to depend on such as parents. For example, one of the children that we are helping, Angelica De Torres, is a right lower torso amputee whose parents are deceased and she is currently living with her neighbors. She is in dire need of help because she is only a minor (12 years old) and has no other family members to depend on. Children need to know that they are not alone. They need to know that there are people in the world who truly care about them. Similarly, it has been proven in psychological studies that children need to be nurtured and cared for early on in life in order to grow and develop to their full potential. The main goal of our society is to help the impoverished children especially those in San Juan, Batangas in any way possible so that they can grow up to become strong individuals who can make a difference in our world.
Currently, we are planning to conduct a trip to Hugom Elementary School and distribute all of the basic goods school supplies for these children of hope. We want to bring a smile on the faces of these underprivileged children.
