Why do you have the shelters who hold individuals from abused homes but most of them don't allow the families in need to bring their pets along? The pet should be allowed to go with the abused individuals; they are victims as well. Especially the children who need to get out of bad homes and have a pet that is in trouble; should be taken out together. That way the child and the pet are in a better environment; but also so that the child learns that what was happening to the animal was wrong too. WE HAVE A DREAM.........To our dearest followers,We here at THE BULLY RESISTANCE have a dream......a huge dream - The Harriett Project. The reality of this goal is the creation of HARRIETT'S HOME (as many as can be imagined) across the country, across the world.Harriett's Home is a sanctuary for the abused, both humans and their animals. A place of security, protection, love and hope. An origin to break the cycle of the emergence of fear, hate, anger, pain and suffering. As the seed of this idea, it was decided to dedicate a living tree in remembrance to all the animals that have suffered abuse at the hands of bullies. We are only asking that you send old pet name tags, licenses and rabies tags of any animals, that you know, have been victims of any form of cruelty. We want to begin our journey by making a memorial of remembrance to all those animals that have suffered. We want to give them a voice, in the sound of wind chimes made from these tags, hanging from our tree, so that they may never be forgotten. It is our hope that every HARRIETT'S HOME of our future has a TREE OF SOULS in the front yard, and that every branch remains empty.Let your tags be the voice for those lost to abuse......... www.thebullyresistance.com
