"For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you…"
The Holy Supper service began at 4:00 p.m and went long into the night ending just before midninght. An areal view showed the thousands of members dressed in white who lined the streets block after block of the Beautiful Province. Not to mention the thousand of members also gathered at the venues of Bethel, Maestro Aarón Joaquín and the S.J.F. Recreational Center where the Holy Supper would also be celebrated.
Our solemn ceremony had began with a consecration where the church and choirs from around the world sang hymns and prayed. After the consecration and service of praise, a precursor to the blessing to come; the International Director of our Church, the Apostle of Jesus Christ Dr. Samuel Joaquín Flores arrived to the church to consecrate the bread and wine which for our church symbolizes the flesh and the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. This consecrated bread and wine where thereafter imparted to the church by hundreds of ministers.
"And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me." 1 Corinthians 11:24
After having participated of this bread and wine I felt a renewed sense of communion with God, his Apostle and the Church. To be one with God, the Apostle and the Church is an unexplainable experience, there is no words to describe what I feel and no way to convey it to you.
I witnessed the greatness of God; a brother of arabic descendance and another of judaic descendance made peace in a fraternal embrace. Nations, which up to this day in the word are rivaled, today are reconciled only within the church.
You always seem to lose track of time here. The days went by fast here but for me and all the brothers who came the blessing was abundant. Many of them have already returned, with renewed spiritual strength, to their countries and cities of origin until next year.
