How to Get Slim for Summer?
We've all been there, a couple of months before our summer holidays, making a vow to drop a few pounds or stone even for our holidays, and I am sure most people always fail! So here's a guide to help you look slimmer.
Keep cool. Most summer holidays are going to be very hot, or at least warm, so most people go for cool clothes such as spaghetti tops and shorts, but these will make you look bigger. Instead, go for light coloured clothes to keep you cool, short loose sleeves instead of strappy ones, and instead of short shorts go for knee-length shorts.
Apart from black, go for block colours, such as all but not baby pink or lilac, unless you're looking for an immature appearance.
Don't dress in all black. Yes it does help you to look slimmer, but it will be uncomfortably hot, and you will look drab, frumpy and incredibly boring!
Choose the best swimwear for you. It's inevitable that you will be going to the beach or to a pool on your holidays, and you may not like the idea of baring all in a skimpy bikini, so go for a one piece swimsuit or a tankini in one colour. Go for a wrap-around style, these hold in all wobbly bits and create a slimmer figure. If you're going to wear a bikini or tankini, choose one with shorts bottoms to cover your tum, bum, and tops of thighs. If you're still feeling uneasy about bearing all on the beach then wear a cover up, such a sun/swim dress or a caftan.
