Attorneys at Law in The Dalles, Oregon Celebrate 100 Years of Legal Service to the Mid-Columbia and Eastern Oregon
(Aug. 14, 2013) The Dalles, Oregon -- William G. Dick, Roger L. Dick and Edgar M. Dick followed their father, Frank G. Dick, into the practice of law and became lawyers after serving their country in World War II. The three bother became a formidable legal team in the northwest serving Wasco, Hood River, Sherman and Gllliam Counties for decades as the dominate law firm in the region.
Bill Dick and Jason Corey are celebrating 100 years of service to the community and the rich historic nature of the law firm. “2013 marks the 100 year anniversary of my grandfather’s law practice,” Stated William G. Dick II (Bill). “Frank arrived in The Dalles shortly after the turn of the century and studied law with Alfred S. Bennett and Nicholas J. Sinnott two of the preeminent attorneys in eastern Oregon at the time.”
“My father, uncles and grandfather have played an important role in protecting the rights of the people and in shaping this region,” Continued Bill. “And we’re proud to continue the tradition today.”
Bill joined his uncle in the family law practice in 1978 and currently serves as senior partner in the law firm. Joined by Jason R Corey in 1994, Dick, Dick & Corey, LLP continues to provide wise council and legal solutions to their clients in The Dalles area.
“Family is important to me,” explained Jason. “And being given the opportunity to become a partner in a family law firm that has been such an influential part of this region’s history for three generations is an honor.”
