HOW TO MAKE YOUR HAIR GROW WITH EGGS
According to "Hair Care: An Illustrated Dermatologic Handbook," eggs contain amino acids and fats that help hair grow, particularly when coupled with flax seed, which according to "Hair and Hair Care," promotes circulation and hair growth. You can make a flax seed and egg treatment at home to encourage your hair to grow. The treatment can be used as frequently as you desire, though most people notice favorable results by using the treatment weekly. The treatment takes only a few minutes of time to prepare, and requires only a few household ingredients.
Separate the yolk of one egg, placing the yolk in the bowl and discarding the egg white. According to "The Science of Hair Care," the yolk of the egg has the greatest amount of amino acids that promote hair growth and is therefore the best part of the egg to use.
Combine 1 tbsp. flax seed oil with the egg yolk.
Rinse your hair and towel-dry it. According to "The Science of Hair Care," it is best for you to squeeze the water out of your hair as opposed to using a scrubbing motion to dry your hair, which can cause breakage.
Massage the egg yolk and flax seed oil mixture gently into your scalp using circular motions. Allow the mixture to rest in your hair for at least 5 minutes, which according to "Hair Care: An Illustrated Dermatologic Handbook," is the minimum amount of time required for the mixture to be effective.
Rinse your hair thoroughly to wash out the egg yolk and flax seed mixture. Shampoo as usual.
