Harvey University Introduces Personality Assessment Tools for Better Career Counseling
The quality of career services of an educational institute can be judged by how well the concerned personnel match the individual’s abilities and competencies to an employment opportunity. It is the best match that produces the best results and contributes to increased productivity within an organization.
Harvey University is an internationally recognized and accredited university that offers degree, diploma and certificate programs to students all over the world. The University is well-known not just for its high standards of education but also for its exemplary career counseling services. These are imparted by experienced career professionals who have in-depth knowledge of the concerned industries and so are able to make better decisions.
Harvey University recently introduced the use of Personality Assessment tools in its Career Counseling services. These tests have been designed by a team of faculty members and career experts of Harvey University. The tests seek to single out each student’s abilities, talents, personality and character traits as well as his or her competency for a particular employment position. Students can take these tests online and can also schedule tests for a later date. The results of the tests are sent to the student via email. After careful evaluation of the tests, the student is recommended several job opportunities and also receives suggestions to improve his or her scores, if need be.
Some of the tests introduced at Harvey University are:
1.Intelligence tests to check personality traits, mental capacity and critical thinking skills.
2.Emotional intelligence tests for evaluating emotional competence.
3.Ethics test to check the student’s professional values and beliefs.
4.Decision- Making tests to gauge the student’s capacity for making decisions in critical situations.
5.Stress Management tests to check the student’s ability of keeping calm in stressful situations and handling them effectively.
“Once we have a clear idea of the student’s personality and academic abilities it’s easier to match the right person to the right job,” a member of Harvey University’s Personality Assessment team was quoted as saying.
