    Biden Clearly Won Debate

Palin answered very few of the questions put to her, instead changing the subject to something she wanted to talk about.  As a result, Biden had to answer her (usually blatantly false) rhetoric and try to answer the question put to him at the same time.  A difficult act, but he pulled it off.  Her non-answers were ridiculous.

His forcefulness in speaking about Cheney was spot-on, and it was refreshing to hear a politician call Cheney out like that.  He even offered Palin plenty of chances to elaborate on how McCain's policies would differ from the current administration.  She couldn't, probably because they are THE SAME.

Palin did not do as poorly as I expected, but her overuse of her "folksy" language was certainly off-putting.  I'm bettin' a lot of the folks in the red states are eating that up, though.

By the way, why does the word "nuclear" seem to be so difficult for some people to pronounce?

Finally, if I hear the word "maverick" one more time, I may have to hurt someone.   Wait...if McCain is Maverick, does that make her "Goose"?  I may never be able to watch Top Gun again.
