    Flooding in Manila

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     TV producer Sherbien slogged through heavy rains and clogged roads to take these images of flooding in the Blumentritt area of Manila in the Philippines Tuesday. Torrential rain from monsoons and the tail end of a tropical storm have lashed the capital region and surrounding area in recent days, leaving several dead. "There are two [military] trucks rotating around the flooded streets giving free rides to stranded people and commuters and there are a lot of volunteers now roving around," he said. "I'm used to walking in floods but I wish the rain would stop now, because there are a lot of affected families."
    - sarahbrowngb, CNN iReport producer

Thousands of families in manila were devastated due to the flooding brought by Typhoon Trami and the seasonal monsoon rain.
