No work was moving forward, foreign companies stopped investment and so did foreign based indian businessmen like Posco n Mittals. Inspite of bill passed in favour of disinvestment in Retail Sector, after much fight in parliament and leaving of a regional party from the centre, not a single foreign Retail company has stepped in this country.
As if all this was not enough, the government completely ignored the wave against corruption led by Sri Anna Hazare and Sri Arvind Kejriwal. The much anticipated, awaited and promised Lokpal Bill is yet to see the day light. As of today the govenment and the opposition party are gearing up[ to keep the politicians out of the perview of RTI( Right to Information). Today, the coal minister says in the parliament that " Parliament runs on numbers and not morals". Today is the day, when the Rupee value against dollar breached Rs.64.
