Binder Clip Tip #11
Since our Binder Clip Tips on our TravelMoreRoads travel tip site have been so popular, we put up five more here: http://travelmoreroads.com/5-more-uses-for-binder-clips-while-traveling/
Here's #11: Clip your boarding pass and ID/passport to the strap of your carry-on to keep it handy but remain hands free. (Avoids those “Where did I put my boarding pass, I JUST had it!” moments.)
Be sure to clip to the strap in front of you so it stays in view. Fold the binder clip’s arms down for comfort. Put your ID/passport away after it is checked by airport security to avoid losing it. Keep your boarding pass handy until scanned as you board the plane. When placing your carry-on onto the security conveyor belt, be sure the strap and these items are appropriately placed so they do not get caught or knocked off. You can also remove them and reattach after security. You can also clip other places in view, depending on your luggage type.
